Fuck it I guess He’s pulled the right strings in recent weeks....let’s see how goes...get a goal early.
gonna need another Herculean effort from Nacho & Militao today and quite possibly a moment of brilliance from one of the front 3
That was rough. I can't believe I'm saying this but Zidane needs to bring on Marcelo or consider switching the formation up a bit Guys already look gassed
doesn't look like any changes but I'd strongly consider bringing Odriozola on for Asensio and pushing Valverde up to the right flank of a 4 man MF but Zidane doesn't return my texts anymore so I doubt it's gonna happen
Holy fuck they just swept Liverpool - Barcelona - Liverpool in 8 days without a single first choice CB or RB beyond heroic performances from Nacho, Eder, Mendy & Courtois
Oh cool now Mendy is hurt and out too. They’re legit without a single first team defender and apparently Nacho is out as well? I didn’t see anything about him going down but he’s not in tomorrow’s squad list. No Casemiro either because of yellow accumulation and there’s worry over Benzema’s ankle being able to hold up after Milner stomped on it. Basically everyone is dead and Real superfan POWESHOW may have to dress tomorrow.
so frustrating that they didn’t create more given the space that was out there also I have no idea how Mariano’s goal was brought back
I absolutely love Keylor and hope that he’s someday given a a hero’s sendoff for everything he did for this club but Zidane, Perez & Co were 100% correct to go get Courtois. Once again he was immense and saved the day. Just so good.
So regardless of your opinion on the Super League (it’s awful) it’s pretty clear that Perez is the most powerful man in the game, for better or worse.
We sort of glossed over the Sky report because of all of the Super League craziness but everything seems to point to an Alaba signing being imminent. Would be a really nice addition (especially as a free transfer) and his versatility and ability to play all over the place is much needed. I still can’t see Ramos leaving but seeing Militao finally living up to his potential & adding Alaba makes things interesting
Nacho has been stupendous the last few weeks but his being out on the left doesn’t leave me feeling great. Awesome to see Dani back though
watching their chances for the league title slip away There's just no match winner on this roster. As good as Benzema has been he's not somebody that will single-handedly just take over and produce a moment of magic.
And seeing as how Zidane rightfully doesn’t trust Marcelo anymore it’ll prob be Nacho on the left again.
Hand shaking intensifies. Should be a fun one. Gonna be a little surly if we stumble the league to Barça and knock Chels out of UCL.
Modric is going to have to be on his game today or I'm afraid Benzema and Vinicius are going to spend much of the match totally isolated and detached
