I keep hoping the turnaround is coming and it still might but this pitching staff just isnt good. The frustrating thing is that it cost us a legit shot at a world series and we just didnt do much to strengthen when there were options out there.

 

Im okay with the Morton signing but Smyly was dumb from the jump. What last year’s team really needed was one more middle of the order bat and AA totally neglected that. Then we let Melancon and O’Day walk for peanuts and Shane for a yet to be disclosed amount.
