Watched this live. Every time they went back to him, he had this look on his face like, "I said calzone...?"
I've seen this a million times so a few years ago, I finally started looking into what happened to her. I was kind of sadly disappointed by how uninjured she walked away from that.
It should be noted that the same guy - can't remember if it was before or after this question - guessed 'filibuster' as a term that represented a type of movement on the Congress floor that also shared its name with a piece of furniture.
We should have a thread where we post the most stuff we can think of and see if there’s anyone who’s never seen it
What? It was one of the guys from the video he quoted. He was showing more of their videos and I’m pretty sure people knew that
Think of the melon as a water balloon with a slightly harder casing. It still broke easily and the pieces splattered past her, which spared her face the full energy transfer
I feel like this is underselling the hardness of watermelon rind versus a water balloon. Also the weight.
As long as it's softer than the face, and breaks first, the face will largely be fine. Martial artists break stuff with their heads all the time; the trick is to make sure that whatever they hit actually breaks. The head keeps going, and doesn't absorb the full impact. The watermelon largely kept going past her; not much energy was transferred to her face/head. All that mass just kept going.
I pretty much did a full rendition of this at a 7 on 7 camp directly in front of Saban in Tiger Stadium. Landed on the ball wrong while trying to make a pick and those pathetic yelps may easily haunt him til this day.
Ok like dblplay said recording it and posting it is weird and messed up (they’re just doing it to hope it goes viral I guess)... but telling your kid he’s wrong for stealing? how is that not good parenting? my mom did that to me when I was around 10 and I remember that to this day, was scared and embarrassed as fuck
telling your kid it’s wrong to steal and giving him consequences for his actions is good. Telling a black boy your going to call the cops on him with everything that’s going on is shitty. Recording it and posting it for the world to see is beyond shitty.
