The better question to ask is, "There was a guy named Chris Thompson on Auburn last year?" ETA: Since Gus never really played him, he's probably going to be a 2x AA.
I’ve been communicating with Jennifer Aniston. A lot of these celebrities’ emails are just [email protected]
Is Bryce Young #Alabama Crimson Tide only legit QB on their roster? Whom ever the fuck Paul Tyson is from the '19 class
There's some good buzz about Jalen Milroe, I think he'd get reps if (when) Bryce gets hurt and Tyson doesn't look great.
Ok, so you got a True Soph and a True Freshman QB. Yall need depth, but I'd be surprised if he went some place to sit 2 years. He'd probably do the same thing at Auburn
I don't believe in any universe we would take TJ Finley right now. Feels like we're just there for show. He should look to a big 12 school IMO
We landed some kid from Kennesaw State who was the Big South DPOY at LB. I have no idea whether to think he will be a difference maker given the change in competition. Are there similar comparisons for kids moving up into FBS from FCS and performing at a high level?
I would not expect a lot. Oregon had some success with Vernon Adams but then whiffed with Dakota Prukop.
Seems we'll start seeing more of it and get a better barometer. FCS had 5 kids drafted. This year. There is some talent there
vernon adams also wasn't some longshot. he put up 500+ yards of total offense against oregon state, which was hilariously ranked #25 at the time
I think it's more that the internet has made it easier to find these guys. I don't think there's been some great rise in talent (and as the sport's popularity wanes the lower levels will be the first to notice a drop in talent) as much as twenty years ago you still needed to get film to the right people so they'd see you and tout you as a prospective draftee. Nowadays people just go on Twitter and say "this dude from Western Outside East-North State U A&M is ridiculous, here's a link to his film" and if a scout sees what they like it takes minutes to get their hands on even more film. They're still diamonds in the rough but scouts and evaluators are mining with machinery now as opposed to their bare hands.
Yeah. And even if they aren't NFL. Players they could still be P5 Contributors. They be the minor league of P5
