I'm down in Brigantine this week but the plan was to come back for the game which the town of Piscataway is discouraging for fans. Down here we got a lot of wind but barely enough rain to make puddles. I watched my sump pump in Union County on security cam all night pumping water. Video from around town is scary.
The Albany street bridge, low parts of 18 in NB and River road in highland park/Piscataway all closed as of 8am this morning. I don’t know how the traffic will be at Game time.
I was up all night vacuuming water, but we did relatively well compared to some neighbors. Newark got pounded.
I was in Newark this morning. Thank God for Waze. McCarter Highway going to Route 1 (before it merges with broad street) must’ve had people rescued from their cars because there were 20 or so still parked under there and news cameras pointing at them.
