I live in an apartment. Each floor has a trash chute and a big recycling container. There are signs all around the recycling container saying what can and cannot go in it (plastic grocery bags, used pizza boxes, etc). We have received several emails laying this all out. It is also all available on the Denver government website. Your batch of recyclables can be rejected if it contains disallowed items. When I open up that container to put in my recyclables and see, for example, a plastic Safeway bag full of 6 or 7 empty beer cans, it fucking sends me. If you are going to recycle, take the 5 seconds to make sure you are doing it appropriately you dumb fuck.
I hate my job and hate my boss more. I cringe and usually yell fuck every morning when I hear his truck driving towards office. I don’t even have to look to know it’s him
Yeah it’s pretty sick that like 90% of us work some stupid fucking job and waste away until we can retire and then hope our bodies don’t fuck us over so we may be able to enjoy that 10 years or so I think about that a lot and it’s fucking awesome
This is at least the 20th time you’ve made it known you hate my use of slang when I post. I get it bruh.
I was about to post, ‘a team meeting notification towards the end of the day.’ but I see most of this thread is in agreement that work fucking sucks
every day when i take my last turn before work comes into view i always get my hopes up for a second that when i round the corner there will be a hundred cop cars and fire trucks there because the building exploded or some some tornado destroyed it still hasnt happened
I’ve been taking longer looks at my coworkers lately wondering why the care they so much. I can’t figure it out.
I go to the same gas station every morning and get a large fountain drink. About once every couple weeks they are out of cups/lids. Going to a restaurant and they are closed for some random reason. Pulling into work at 7:55 and getting an alert that I have an IEP (special education) meeting at 8. Having a tee time and it starts raining. Waking up with a sick kid.
There are people who care about the company, their customers/clients and their future. I’m at a startup and I deeply care about my co-workers, people under me and the innovations we’re coming up with. My last company I was at for eight years we had a great culture.
