Give me major BF4 vibes, which I love.

I’ve never played this. Really don’t play much but have been playing COD and Warzone over the past year or so. How does this game compare?

 

Hopefully nowhere near each other. I'll be disappointed if Dice goes the COD direction

 

Cool, I haven’t watched anything on this, could you describe how this game works comparatively? Will I suck real bad if I’m not great at Warzone?

 

At first? Likely. Bigger maps, vehicle game play to account for, more players, explosive/destructable environment

BFV was ass, but in general Battlefield is more of a realistic warfare game, it encourages teamwork and coordination to win games. Maps are huge and matches take a lot longer. This blow up, tanks shoot down helicopters, airplanes farm if you don't pay mind to them. Bullets drop off, guns feel way better, etc etc. Usually can't carry your team if they suck like you can in CoD.

CoD is pretty linear outside of Warzone. Same enemies, same shooting angles, spawn die spawn die arcady game. Winner is whoever dooms more heads.t Enter a game alone, run around and shoot people for 5 minutes, and then the match is over. It's all about "point gun, shoot dude". It's very fast paced and doesn't require the team to work together.

 

Gotcha, that’s what I was thinking. I think I’ve seen my friend play it a few years ago. Wasn’t sure what it was he was playing but sounds like it.

 

I feel like BF drastically trumps Call of Duty

They're different style games. COD is an arcade shooter, where BF is more realistic. Definitely have to account for bullet drop with all guns, not just snipers. Usually 3-4 different game types. Matches usually take 30 minutes. Levelution (can destroy buildings).

 

Small Map Battlefield fucks. Domination is super fun in a good battlefield game. Super fun

 

If I pay for PC can I also play on Xbox? I'll hang up and listen!

 

I've put so many hours into Battlefield games, I'd be scared to see the actual number. Really excited for this one. I played so much BFV even though it was kind of shit compared to the rest of them. Now I just need to figure out how to get a Series X before it sells out in 10 seconds.

 

863hours on BF4 xbox one, probably 1500 on 360.

Just played for a few hours. Feels good to be back. Like riding a bike.

 

4 was the last shooter I no lifed. Was about to start a new Witcher 3 playthrough just to have something to play, may just hop on BF 4 until this drops.

Playing BFV on Ultra is kinda fun. The 3080 is insane. Need a 144 screen now.

 

BFV was a major disappointment. I'd rather they go back to the paid battle pass / expansions than have them shit the bed on another game. Luckily this one is a different studio.

I thought BF1 was pretty fun.

 

Taking away bullet drop was a bad decision. Made it too arcade like with some of their choices.

 

Yeah I like that BF requires more skill. Had some fun maps, weapons, and horses, tho.

 

It was definitely fun. But I think a lot of the choices lead to it not having a long shelf life.

 

Man I fucking suck with Keyboard and Mouse now hahahaha. My brain is mush trying to play Apex and BF. Figured out the Corsair software. It's silly annoying. I installed MSI controls for the mobo. It overrided Corsair and even when I turned it off. So I uninstalled that. PC is so complicated. Lololol
