Arkansas was evidently at Patterson High School (La.) this afternoon to watch the defending 3A runner-up Lumberjacks practice. Lorenzo Phillips, Trevon Stewart, and Jaydrick Declouet visited Arkansas for the spring game (I think all three attended).
Arkansas offered Celina (Tx.) DL Jake Raulerson today. He's a '13 prospect. Dominated the camps and combines against highly-touted '12 OL.
We also offered 2013 RB Altee Tenpenny 5'11 200lbs 4.5 He's supposed to be on the McFadden level. Next big RB out of Arkansas. SF Archie Goodwin moved up to #9 overall in Rivals basketball rankings. Jarnell Stokes out of Memphis moved up to number 8. We are in the top two for both. Stokes will be a tough pull from Memphis... but we are def in it

Because the bulk of the pollsters picked the champion before the bowl games and crowned Bama. They lost their bowl. Arkansas won theirs and was the undefeated team left at the top. They got chosen by the rest of the pollsters who picked after the bowl games. It is actually because of this year that the AP and others decided to switch to picking the National Champ after the bowl games.

He is good friends with Jahill Okafor, who is a legit tip 5 guy in the 2014 class and also picked up an offer when he visited with Lee this past weekend. They played aau ball together.
