he makes half the shit up that he posts. holy shit Hogfan... It was 105 here today and the power has been shutting on/off here. It's supposed to be 107 or something like that tomorrow and Wednesday. I'm coaching football this year and we start practice tomorrow :|
ths you down in south Arkansas? What's it like there? Heard it was like 108 or something in Fort Smith
Yeah we've been staying inside as much as possible. I have a 6 & 3 year old and having them outside for very long in this type of weather is just dangerous. The downside is our summer has been shit because its been so damn hot. I'm looking forward to the fall again. And at heathieboy's post. These guys kill me
There's several more to choose from too, but that was one of the best ones. First time I've visited the site in a while just to see some of the responses. It's just continuous after
Oh you know it. Oh I imagine. I never posted on HS much when I had a rivals account. I stayed mostly on the recruiting board there.
I think me and hogview are the only ones that continue to waste money on that site. I'm really just too lazy to call into rivals and try and explain to some durka that I want to cancel. "I hold back tears as I say this".... the fuck?
I still like looking on HS from time to time. Majority of my post are back and forths with guys that have no clue what they are talking about. Most recent one was on our revenue vs other SEC teams. This one guy couldn't/wouldn't understand why Burn/Bama and others bring more money in than we do. Its those people that look at one thing and can't understand anything around it.

love seeing those quotes about knowing and understanding the game, means they are being taught to think for themselves.
first practice was today. We're running a 5 man D-line, I guess to challenge the O-line a little more... wonder if we'll use it during the season. A d-line of Bequette, DD Jones, Byran Jones, Robert Thomas, and Tank Wright would be impossible to keep out of the backfield. Darren McFadden out a minimum of two weeks due to a fractured orbital bone in his eye socket. May miss most of the preseason.
Alright fellas, I need some help from you guys. Most of my blog usually deals with politics but I occasionally like to write an article that deals with the Hogs. After seeing the thread on here that looked at college football's best game in the last decade (2001-2010), I decided to put a list together of the top 16 wins for the hogs over the last decade. Here is the list with a brief write up for each. I think I'm going to put together an online survey and let folks vote on which one they think the best was out of the list. For you guys is there any games I've missed that you would add? I'm only doing wins in this list. I have another list I'm working on that looks at heartbreaking losses during the same period. Here is the link for the survey: http://rationalpolitics.net/wordpress/?p=1397 10/13/2001: 10-7 win over #9 South Carolina: Carlos Hall blocks a FG with less than a minute to play to preserve the win. Can you guys that have accounts on other hog sites link this so we can get more hog fans voting? I dropped it Hogville since I still have an account there. I'm also putting it on Razorback Attack since I'm good friends with the owners. Here is the link: http://rationalpolitics.net/wordpress/?p=1397

the whole weekend w/o the board was pretty rough. Going to take some getting used to, but I like what I see so far.

Agreed, hopefully with the extra reps wingo will finally put it all together if not many are quick to forget that dj is a little bowling ball always churning downhill
yeah I'm hopeful that Wingo can turn it on, but I highly doubt our running game is going to be anywhere near as effective. DJ is nice, but I just can't see him getting more than 15 touches per game and staying healthy.
I think we're going to see more of Joe Adams in the tailback position this year now, in a Percy Harvin type role. It's also been rumored that Kelvin Fisher Jr is going to be moved to RB. Very electric player too.
Yeah I think we will mix it more. Fucking kills me that Davis got hurt though. I knew our luck couldn't last forever. This is Arkansas football after all.
He's one player that can't be replaced on the team. When Childs went down, Hamilton stepped up. This really deflated my high hopes. Still think we win 10 tho
DJ has said to be doing alot better in practices and he was on the doak walker watch list before he got hurt. He ripped up LSU and Florida that year before his bowel injury. If he can be as good as we were hoping him to be then we may not see that much of a drop off..... still blows ass to lose knile tho...
I dropped this in the Knile thread thinking it was this one. I guess it applies to that discussion as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsQj2Yajuvg&feature=player_embedded
Whole situation sucks. Hard to think that losing that element doesn't severely hurts UofA's chances in the west.
dont think anyone doesn't believe it hurts our chances. I think it puts us back in the same position we were in last year on offense. Ridiculous WR's, good QB play, uncertainty at RB early on. It's a good thing we've got 3 cupcakes to start the season for these guys to get some confidence going. I am very confident in the defense, and I think Tyler will make a lot less dumb decisions than Mallett did. If we can still get about 150 yards per game on the ground between DJ and Wingo, we should still contend for the west.
Before DJ went down he was on the Doak Walker watch list so the kid obviously has talent i'm confident we will be ok, if someone else goes down then we are proper fucked.
