Officially have joined the crypto world. Just bought $500 of Filecoin and $1,000 of BTC. Using Coinbase Pro and have no clue what I'm doing.
The magic of crypto, it's very possible those were smart buys and you'll be a millionaire soon. Good luck
Filecoin was actually one of my best wins this cycle....rode it from like 32 bucks to $180ish. Pure dumb luck, didn't know what I was doing
Ehhh....Filecoin is a weird one, sometimes it operates independently of the market. It spiked the other day when the broader market was down and it does have a Grayscale trust (although so do some shitcoins). I don't know who uses it - I understand the message, it's file storage, but unlike Link I couldn't name anyone they're integrated with. Tl.dr, idk....there are others I'd invest in before that one but don't really know much about it
Cute joke. Madoff scammed people out of $65 billion. Btc allows self custody. There’s a reason “not your keys not your coins” is a common saying. Anyone leaving btc with a third party takes the risk of this happening. That was true during Mt. Gox and is true now.
For South African countries? Because if this is directed to the US, the btc space has (and has had for years) regulation from every government entity that matters.
user15000 might have had a point about the Paris Hilton influencer thing. You're gonna want to like and subscribe below so you don't miss out! Gutter Cats plz
It's a fucking great resource to turn and use against someone though Fuckin Paris Hilton is trending ITT if you think about it...
It takes about 30 minutes for the Gary Vee speak to wear off after listenting to one of his podcasts. Sorry about the language. I'm fucking hyped about that tweet!
Lol Some people really should examine their view on time preference, especially when it comes to investments. Anyone buying any crypto with a time horizon of less than like 5 years isn’t gonna make it. And if your investment thesis or view of the asset changed based on monthly price fluctuations, you’re clueless to start.
Encouraging irresponsible levels of debts for consumers against a volatile asset....is irresponsible. Also - the bolded is laughable. Why would I watch my net worth cut in half when I could reinvest at lower prices?
Ah yes buy low sell high because you obviously know where price will be in the future. If only everyone else had thought of that.
You’re non-jokingly hyped about Paris Hilton tweeting about nfts? She’s been doing that for months ya know.
I'm 100% jokingly hyped about a Paris Hilton tweet That tweet I posted was on a Discord announcement this morning. I did not go hunting for it like you just did whatever that is above... Relax
I mean, I think more than just “some people” would think that’s absolutely bonkers; do you have no diversity whatsoever?
