At my club. Guy does a good job. I’ve done other clubs with him that didn’t come in stock and he doesn’t push a single brand. The whole time was let’s try this … few swings …. that wasn’t better, try this …. repeat a few times and end up back where we started.
The positive is that you saw the numbers and know that is what fit you the best. Also when you get fit at your club the guy who fit you has to deal with you every day. If the clubs suck he has to hear about it and will make it right.
I did get fitted for my last irons and it was the same. I think I fitted a little different than what the simulator said, but it was close. The guy was like you should hit this better but it shows you hitting this better, and it felt better to me so I just went with the stock set up.
Guys I appreciate the moral support but I am very happy with the stock set of irons I was fitted for 5 years ago. I am very comfortable with the level of inconsistency in my golf swing. If I truly cared I would actually get out and practice more often. You do kind of hope that you just needed a fix in setup to take 4 strokes off your fame. In reality most 10+ handicappers could benefit the most from practicing.
The original m2 Taylormades. This was years ago though. The new version had just come out but I hit the older ones better. I tried out a ping, mizuno, and callaway sets too (previous and current models at the time). I thought the mizunos were going to be it before hitting them. The pings were a very close second to what I ended up with.
Probably need to be Callaway gardens. Heard that dairy place is cool though. Bunch of my buddies and I got jobs at club in town so we could cancel our memberships and play free golf. Best thing ever.
Really my goal once i get to retirement age is to work as a Marshall or starter couple days a week and get free golf
#2, par 3. Don’t have a picture of my favorite hole though. #8 over the barn and left of the silos. The fairway is the left of the picture though.
It's the best man. I worked from 3-8 today. Drove the picker around the range and pressure washed carts. Took home about 20 golf balls I found. About 10 were premium. This scam saves me about 500 a month. Not to mention the 75 dollar check I get every two weeks that I immediately spend in the pro shop with my 40% discount.
Played 36 out at Chateau Elan yesterday. Played both courses. Took about 6 hours total. Was great. Looking forward to beating Degausser ’s ass out there on Thursday.
If you play early it’s about $100 on the weekend. $70 after 2. And it’s $45 to replay. During the week it’s about $60 early and $25 to replay.
Yep and the courses are in great shape. they didn’t charge us yesterday to replay so paid $70 for two rounds.
It's supposed to bomb at my house tomorrow so playing is probably a wash. Going to spend the morning at top golf. Going to be the guy that brings his bag.
My wife gives me hell because last time we went it was packed and I was only guy using his own clubs.
Anybody have a gogogo rangefinder? They are so much cheaper and was told by someone that they work just as good as the expensive ones.
Morikawa is changing the way I bet gold and play dfs. I don't recall care how someone's short game is if they are going to stripe every single iron.
Nice, I came in here to ask about going to club champion for a putter fitting and you guys were already talking about it. Lucky
Summertime golf in florida can be so frustrating. I’m in Naples playing old corkscrew for the first time. Beautiful course and having a great round. Shot par on the front 9 and now I’m sitting in the clubhouse for an hour as a storm goes through. Just one cell right over our location. I’m sure I’ll shoot 10 over on the back now.
