I’m fine with them competing as individuals I guess but having them in a team competition is just silly.
I generally feel the same but I do have to say it does seem a bit more punishing during a medal ceremony when one of them wins a medal. I hadn't thought about that until I saw a medal ceremony earlier today when an American won a gold and a Russian won either silver or bronze. They raise all 3 countries flags except Russia's is basically just a white flag with some weird design, the Olympic rings on it and the acronym ROC. It hit me then that, that would be kinda embarrassing. What I don't know yet is when one of them wins gold, do they even play the Russian national anthem or will they just play some generic "Olympic" song?
Does this softball game mean anything at all? USA and Japan are playing, but they are playing Tuesday for gold medal home team?
We got USA Mens Archery going on, NBC Sports is playing a water polo replay, NBC is doing yesterday gymnastics and now looking at medal counts. This is the problem with the Olympics coverage.
Was watching earlier and the commentators were saying that the refs never call it and basically teams push it to see what they get away with
between Kornacki and Maria Taylor NBC is going to have 25 people working Sunday Night Football pregame
I didn't realize CNBC was airing events. God NBC make this easier. Even just dedicate one random ass channel to just a single screen of what is on what channel.
makes too much sense. they even have an Olympic channel, but it’s just replays of old stuff. Between all the nbc properties they could have made it really easy.
