Any conference where mizzou can march in and get results on day one is clearly a media generated sham
hopefully the official acceptance will mean some good rumors about the Irate Eight will start today. the thread must feed
Tough to build a football conference of those schools. Miami Ohio Stanford St. John’s Dartmouth Illinois

rather had Texas Tech than Okie State but imo if/when there were ever a need to expand more, it would probably be East coast
allegedly KU’s AD provided the “evidence” to Bowlsby also the Irate Eight seem to be sticking together right now based on pending exit fees and any damages from espn which they apparently think could be significant. also if the “evidence” is clear, then there is a feeling FOX could get involved against espn as well the most likely outcome appears to be adding AAC teams hopefully all true for max drama
imo the proceeds from espn should be used to reimburse tuition for anyone who attended an irate eight school. jmo
they don’t have a choice but to stick together. If the big 10 offered one of them admission they would jump ship in a second. If I’m them I would try and poach 2 AAC teams. That’s it. Keep it small. If the ACC blows up or loses members, that could provide a lot better opportunity than rushing to combine with a lot of dead brands. Only a few AAC brands even have potential.
