I always go max as well. Just routine more than anything else. Also last year I faced early game Feller, he was a stud last year for a bit, opponent had like 130 plus pitches and he was still pumping 100+ with ease. I’ve been on the Event circuit all year as well. It just amazes me how well they deal with pitcher stamina in Events and BR, yet it’s so fucking broken in ranked. Only complaint about BR is you’ll have an RP come in and get the message about him being tired, on full energy, without throwing a pitch. Does he have mono?
Idk man I feel like it's broken in BR. People don't even draft SP bc they go 1 inning and are tired and they take 2 games to get full stamina while a RP can throw 1 inning and be ready to go next game. Everyone just takes bronze SP and use silver and gold for the pen. In ranked, almost all of them are in the yellow by 120 pitches. That's about right. Maybe it should be 110 but it's not too off. The problem is few people have the patience to get a SP to 100 pitches in the 5th so most SP can go 8 before they hit 100.
Just realized Teoscar, Mullins, Devers and Bichette all went diamond. Combined I'm holding well over 500,000 stubs with their cards. Once I see them come off the lowest point I will start selling them off.
i simply couldn't get the accuracy good enough on most of the pitches I like to throw consistently. Especially sliders. That's my primary pitch with a lot of pitchers and with analog I can locate it right where I want 9/10. With a decent SP I maybe leave one meatball down the middle per game.
Doing the Jarren Duran moment and Cole threw me 11 straight balls. Threw a strike, I fouled it off. Walked me next pitch.
how many times has everyone done the US conquest map? on my fourth run now and it seems to be a different team every time that takes over half the map
think i read on reddit that for the daily program this month you have 2 days to complete each challenge
Was out most of last week ramping back up for the school year but any speculation on what this new collection reward might be? Feel pretty well prepared for it outside of maybe 1 or 2 card types but I have enough investments that when the market jumps up, I should be able to afford what I need (hopefully). Also team pinpoint pitching. Didn't realize fatigue was glitched but it makes sense now that I think about it.
Some other hot takes as I catch up ITT: Not a fan of that 99 Acuña (.245 avg w/ .782 ops in just under 100 plate appearances) Tried to get more into ranked this "season" but keep going back to BR. Just a more enjoyable experience imo Really excited for that 99 Vlad Sr. One of my all time favorite players
Kinda shitty they haven't pushed through an update where you can use SP in the field. You can sub in a RP to bat or play the field but not a SP. Dumb with them giving us a 99 Ohtani with all 3 OF positions as a secondary. Would be a really fun BR card if you could use him in the field when he wasn't pitching.
Ripped off like 8 Event wins Saturday and more yesterday. Today, I absolutely cannot hit. Just can't square anything up.
Yeah, not from last Friday, the Friday before. Against Clase and I could not time that fucker up. I was in front of everything.
that’s the expectation. Something that I’d going to feature a ton of cards. Hoping the Ohtani isn’t 100% necessary or else I won’t complete it for a while.
Yeah there was a PSN sale right before this one. Couldnt have been more than a week apart. I dont know if there was a Xbox sale though.
Hope it's Hank today. Pedro would be cool but we already have DeGrom and Carbrera for half the games so not looking forward to another meta pitcher.
Hope it's a good program or something tbh. TA2 was a joke to complete, seems like they have decreased a lot of the grind this year. Would like some more conquest or missions to grind out for players programs. FWIW, I'd love if they kept it as easy to obtain TA2 for those that just want to be done with it. I am asking for more of a grind if that is the route you would like to pursue.
Fuck that lol. I hate long grinds vs the cpu. Pretty sure it's a collection, like Mo, not a program like POTM. It's basically a reward for getting and keeping a lot of cards over the last few months.
Right, I'd like to keep it that way for people like you or who don't want to put in the grind. I'm saying adding the grind as an addition to the programs.
A collection is a collection, I am good with that. I am talking more POTM and TA type stuff. Allow the exchanges and all that, just add conquest like TA1 or more missions.
Oh I see. Have like 18 voucher options and you have to get 15 of them and have conquest and missions type stuff as a possible voucher. That way you could do it with 15 collections or 12 collections + 3 conquest/missions things. I can dig it. Gives multiple ways to get the main card without having to have each collection done.
Yeah I like that as well. I mean if someone wants to put the time in I think they should do that. For the collection I would just wait for price drops personally. Like right now I am sitting on 750k in stubs but I won't buy the last two cards for Ohtani until some of the prices drop.
I’m sitting on about 120k stubs which is the most I’ve ever had by far lol. Glad I’m at work and can’t buy anything in the flash sales.
He was my first card I got to V or whatever, swing is a lot like Trea's. Not sure he will be displacing Albies though.
