I forgot to mention that the short ends with Leia and Rey waking in on Finn and Rose banging in a supply room.
Okay, slow down, this is on Disney+, a family friendly platform… so let’s make it a tasteful erotic scene, no “banging,” what are we animals?
The Last Jedi isn't flawless but it's so much more interesting and better than the other two sequels. It's been on cable recently and it's way more fun to rewatch than the others.
Spoiler Did her dad have the accent like that in Rebels? I don't remember the episode or two he was in that show. If he had the accent, I guess the premise would be that she would have an accent as a kid if her family did. If he didn't, then it's a really odd thing. Especially when Kanan was voiced by the same person in the pilot of Bad Batch.
Why? Spoiler Why would it not be logical for her to have the same accent as her parents and pretty much all of Ryloth? Then, after she leaves Ryloth (I'm guessing in the next episode) and spends the next half of her life traveling the galaxy, she loses the accent? Why would that be out of the ordinary and confusing?
people don’t completely lose accents. I know it’s like your thing to militantly defend anytime someone criticizes star wars and I honestly don’t care that much, but people don’t lose their accent just because they move.
Did anyone consider they simply didn't think of all possible little details like this? I'm as big a Star Ward nerd as anyone...but sometimes this thread makes such a big deal out of nothing.
for me it’s actually the complete opposite. I don’t think Filoni does anything by accident and I think there’s an explanation for it.
I get the reason for the accent. Spoiler I think what made it a little weird to me is that Kanan was in the pilot episode as a child, but was still voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr. That kind of makes it more noticeable when Hera's voice is so drastically different at the same age.
Thought bad batch went boring again this week. https://lrmonline.com/news/grand-ad...ger-casting-confirmed-exclusive-barside-buzz/
Yesterday's episode was the Bad Batch equivalent of a Jar Jar/Padme episode of CW, only possibly worse.
TBD There's been some really good episodes, but some weak ones as well. Gonna largely depends on how this wraps up.
Took three days but managed to get into Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios and it was worth every second of our collective 18 attempts.
Spoiler I knew nothing about it going in and walking into a full size Star Destroyer hanger had 8 year old me just shrieking behind my eyes. The full size AT-ATs too
Wondering how they are going to wrap up bad Batch. Is it a one off series or will there be more? Spoiler anyone have an idea what rex was doing when he called the bad Batch?feel like we are going to get a big surprise here at the end (hopefully) otherwise idk about this series
The pacing on Bad Batch has been frustrating, every time it starts to get rolling there is an episode that slows it down. (I haven't watched this week's episode)
Agreed, and it's also kind of weird how they seem to be forcing characters from Rebels and other Star Wars shows/movies into stuff in season one of a new show. I get connecting the shows and whatnot, but I think they'd be better served telling more story with this group and doing that later if the hope is to go beyond one season. Save some of those bullets.
