For all we know Milton was going to play and said fuck that, I ain’t getting my knee exploded again behind these scrubs
He's got to stay in now right? Norvell letting him throw on that first play and then keeping him in. Just great.
To be fair I seem to remember his first OT game with us he also fumbled away his chance at a game winner. Time is a flat circle
I really wanted Milton to get that win but at the same time that was a hilarious bad choke by FSU. I have a roller coaster of emotions now
Still think Norvell is a bad game coach. Kicking fg in the AAC title game when you were about to blow a 24-7 lead and lose to Heupel said a lot about him. He stopped running the ball and played so scared after half.
When he sent the kick team in, I knew we were going to win. Probably found George’s old “play not to lose” playbook in the locker room
So after that showing last night, KZ has to be the starter when he's healthy, right? There's no way they can go back to the shit-show Travis put on.
Travis is (theoretically) the future. They ply Jacksonville State next week. I could see a circumstance where you want Travis to get more starting snaps in preparation for the future/rest of season, especially since you also are concerned about KZ’s health long term. That said, Norvell has to make KZ the starter. He’d be insane not to.
If Travis comes out starting then Norvell will be booed. VS Jax state, let Milton get a 14 pt lead then let Travis play with little to no risk to build confidence
One thing about a Norvell team is they can always run the absolute fuck out of the ball from the shotgun.
Guh rewatching this morning with my son (who is awesomely excited watching McKenzie) and that bad snap on 3rd and 7 in regulation I swear ruined the ultimate ending.
asked a recruiting nerd this and apparently there are less can’t miss OLs lately and they all go to Bama or Ohio State . Strength Coach more important than ever
