Thanks man will do! I recorded my first video today with a face cam, so I'm working my way into the Twitch mindset slowly but surely.
more tarkov not sure how prevalent cheating is but some guy just ripped me up while i was wearing level 4 body armor and some random helmet with a pistol from like 100 yards. killed my teammate in the exact same way. of course his name was like BongRipper
also snagged my first drum mag for a gun that i can actually attach it to potentially being able to shoot 75 rounds at a time is awesome
New video up, Part 1 of Cloudpunk. Really unique game, seems like it will have a good story though, and there's a ton of stuff to explore and check out, seemingly beyond the main story. My first time being on cam but it didn't take as long to get used to it as I expected.
I liked it a lot when I played it, lots of technical issues but I will revisit once I can build a new box and the dev can work out the kinks
My game sputters a bit when there’s big explosions, yet it doesn’t same I’m losing frames drastically. RTX still isn’t an option for me. Won’t save the settings when I change from DX11 to 12.
yeah wouldn't surprise me if that was something they hadn't implemented or couldn't figure out yet. I have a really old box so I had to go windowed and a lower resolution just to make it playable enough to review and make a video of it, but the underpinnings are fun. If you like cyberpunk, check out Cloudpunk, the one I'm playing on my channel now, its a lot of fun and a very well-done representation of the theme, even in the voxel-graphic style
I know there was an issue with the new Direct X that made it really poorly performing. Might be part of that.
It would crash the game every time I loaded it. That was weeks ago I have quite a selection of games to go through before I try again.
I just started playing Divinity Orignial Sin 2. Can't tell if I'll like it or not. Gonna put in a few more hours and if I don't enjoy it, I'm out.
Oh man such a fun game. I've done more than few run throughs of that. Even more fun once you start playing with different mods.
Any tips or suggestions? I've been collecting everything and I am about to stop bc It's annoying and wastes time. BUt that's one of the fun things in RPGs; saving up money to buy cool equipment. How much stuff should I hoard for crafting? Can I kill most of the NPC's? I've been killing a lot of them, especially if they can't trade with me. IDK if that's a bad idea, but I need the experience.
Man where to start. Some quests are tied to NPCs so if you kill them you lose that quest line. I'm going to assume you are still on Fort Joy? When you get ready to leave just kill every thing. If you're playing legit you've got get that sneaking/thievery up on at least one character. Crafting plants and starting a little farm is the best way to get your economy rolling. Stardust Herb + Bucket of Water = Stardust Growth that you can plant. Farm herbs off that and craft it into stardust. Use stardust to trade instead of gold.
still playing tarkov off and on. my sense of direction is absolute shit and i can't seem to memorize where extract points are to save my life
So my plan is to stream something easy like Celeste middle of next week, just to see how much my old-ass PC can handle and still produce a decent stream and try to get used to all the Twitch stuff. Then I'm going to mess with streaming direct from my PS5, I don't know how I would do a facecam from there but the PS5 built in mic should let me do voice. Depending on how that goes I think I will end up getting an ElGato to use for streaming and recording from the PS5. I really want to stream Deathloop and Kena when they drop on over the next few weeks, they should give me a decent shot at viewership as brand new titles.
tarkov. hit the dude with 3 rounds of buckshot from melee range and he didn't die somehow. not sure why it says 5 rounds used because i only shot 4 times but
It’s because of the penetration of the buckshot is practically zero. You dealt most of the damage to his armor
i understand why it happened, but from a distance where i could have just punched the guy, i feel like there should be some kind of leeway i also thought he was a scav because he was wearing that stupid white floppy winter hat
ultra hardcore shooter with a bunch of different rpg elements. inventory management is a pretty big deal when you're poor like me as well. there are definitely some questionable parts of its development (memory leaks and weird desync issues, for one) but it's still in beta i guess. it's great when you're on a good run, it sucks ass when someone randomly blows your head off and you lose all of your stuff. jplaYa can explain it better i'm sure, since this is my first season
Sounds good man anything I can do to help now that you friended me just message me on their I'll be there
It’s a great game that scratches an itch no other game can. Definitely worth a look for people into masochism and the occasional bouts of sadism
Tarkov is a game that will ruin a good majority of all other shooters for you. Gunplay, modding, realism—it’s unparalleled. The maps are incredible and despite there only being 7 maps that are playable, they never get old. Well they get old when you constantly die with quest items or nice loot, but it’s so rewarding when you’re successful exfiling a raid. I can’t recommend it enough though it’s an investment. It’s expensive compared to AAA titles but it’s given me 3000+ hours played and there’s constant content and game updates. I’m on my 5th wipe after buying that game in 2017, getting frustrated that none of my friends played and putting it down for a year+. I’ve played the last 4 wipes and they’ve been super enjoyable. I can answer any questions you might have.
i will when i can access the flea market i kind of just view it as a waste of your time when i'm still lvl 10 or whatever
Nahhh man. I would love nothing more than to help. I’m just chilling at the moment. I need a few quests but mostly finding Killa on interchange. With his new spawns locations changed, he’s hard to find.
I need to learn that transition from direct control of a county to vassalizing someone worthwhile and keeping them loyal. Balancing demense size, improving holdings to keep a sizable on-hand military/increase incoming gold, etc. Been a few months since I played but it is always an interesting time.
Thanks for the tips. I didn't know you could grow your own garden. I beat the game but started over with two characters (both lone wolf). I'm going to use your method though. It's so much more fun having an idea of what to do and knowing I don't have to pick up every cup and bowl just to have money for equipment I want. What abilities do you focus on? On my guys I'm going with: Thievery --> Bartering and Persuason -->Luck
I always try to have someone with high Lucky Charm. Also it's good to get your rep up with vendors for discount on items.
9AM tomorrow. My first Twitch stream. Be there or be square. Playing Celeste and seeing what kind of dumpster fire happens when a first-time streamer with a 5 year old PC goes to Twitch-land.
tarkov i just walked 2KM on a broken leg and got shot in the back 50 meters from the extract because i couldn't help myself and shot a scav
Eh I don't know about that. I've played games like CS that really are overrun by them at times and it doesn't feel that way. It's also a pretty high price tag to be doing it
At least at low levels where I'm at, getting my head randomly blown off by an AI is something i worry a lot more about
