I had more drinks than I expected from that game and will thankfully not remember most of it tomorrow but: - This will catch some off guard but the offensive line is horrible, I don't care that they lost 4 starters or they are down to their third string LT. Yes there should be struggles and yes, losing your LT (who was a true frosh) is not ideal but what was seen was bad. Earlier I argued with IHHH with his assessment that Quinn has always been bad or was using Harry's recruits which is Coach D speak considering he had those guys for years after Heistand left but today might give the Coach D talk some credence. Jesus that was bad. At least the 07 line had the excuse of Willingham basically putting the program on probation - Coan is purely a pocket passer and ND is trying to do RPOs, Buchner is going to steal his job if he doesnt run when teams are literally selling out on the RB. I think Coan is fine if ND was more of a pro pass system that could hold the line for more than 1.5 seconds but that is not happening apparently. -The defense played much better today but not sure if that was just because there were less weapons than FSU, Freeman still went to the 3-3-5 which is maddening to me. I am not an x and os guys at all and I know we have a few actual coaches that are ND fans so please educate me on the thought process to putting worse personnel on the field. You do not have to out scheme people when you have superior talent and also you should play to your strengths regardless. - I am sure Kelly will say winning is hard and shit like that but it is inexcusable how many games ND has like this, this is why they will never win a playoff game with him. Winning is hard against Alabama and Clemson, it shouldn't be against Toledo I am Thoros pilled but he appears to have softened up a bit since he got a kid (congrats).
