Awful defending. Just lazy by everyone. Nobody marking or hustling back. I'm really looking at TAA. He seems to have forgotten that he does actually have defensive duties.
Had to know the lack of finishing early on would come back to bite them. Really need to be cleaner around the box
What a relief. They were not fazed by the final 5 meltdown. Origi and hendo both playing key roles in the comeback was cool. That’s the sign of a good team.
I've decided I'll remember the Henderson goal longer than the two Milan got so I'm okay with the trade
Gomez was the end result, but two very lazy efforts from Naby set both goals up. He doesn’t get back either when losing the ball. Just pouts.
If Gini was concerned about how our fans treated him online I hope he doesn't go on twitter for a while. His trend is brutal.
I do have agree with Klopp on the lack of bids for Origi. I'm pretty sure West Ham or someone could have gotten him for £10m plus some ad ons and he'd probably get them at least 8-10 goals this year. They got no one upfront but Antonio. I know they don't have money, but they have to play in Europe. Origi just isn't as flexible as we need, and can't get enough game time to where he will ever get a rhythm going.
Think our CB rotation should always include one of Matip or VVD, outside of the League Cup. I'll give AC Milan a lot of credit, they looked overwhelmed at the start and if the penalty goes in they probably crumble. But they didn't. I was impressed by Franck Kessie (I know we've been linked to him on a free next summer) just because only him and their CBs looked like the only guys who weren't afraid and they didn't have guys showing for the ball when they couldn't get out of their half.
