This is where I am. If the defense can figure out how to tackle better and eliminate 2-3 big plays a game, its not as big an issue. The problem is there is no margin for error since the line cant block their own shadow right now. I think the things to say from yesterday nails so many things. Kiser has been non existent, and the corners aren't great at the scheme being ran. Maybe both figure it out. Hamilton seems a bit off right now as he is taking really bad angles on the big plays, but we knew some of this and throwing them into the fire and hopefully we have one more games before these issues get real, but this team scoring 35 ppg should be enough. Ideally, this team needs to be four down almost all the time since they have to get pressure on the QB, but they have to tackle in space way better.

I don't think there is any benefit here to ND- if Franklin leaves PSU then Fickell goes to PSU. Fickell will keep the recruiting class together that PSU has and be difficult in the Midwest as well for 2023 and beyond.
Wait, so a few pages back there was talk about "holding Fisher out of Purdue and then reassessing" and some people thought it was transcribed wrong and supposed to be Carmody. Did we ever get that resolved? Fisher still out 6-7 more weeks or could he be back in a couple?

Surprised all 3 analysts openly said Quinn should be replaced after this year on the II podcast. Prister in particular did not hold back at all, going as far as saying the returning OL at the time were not in favor of hiring Quinn.

About that 3-3-5, I think it would work just fine with bothello and Marist. I think that formation could’ve been very good if these two guys would play that lb position that foskey is trying to play. You can move foskey down to de and bothello is the guy that can either rush, spy or just cover the middle. Same with Marist. I know it works because I tried it on ncaa14 and I am killing it.
