Got a little shaky at the gatekeeper stage, for some reason, but we seem to have a decent strategy. Oracle stage is still difficult if you don’t have people who know what they’re doing in charge of them. I wouldn’t be great at controlling them. I know you’ve got to shoot them in the specific order they sound, like at Atheon, but on steroids lol. Crossplay has made it 100x better cause now we can get groups together.
Oracle gives us the most trouble. Mostly because we refused to use the commonly accepted best way to do it.
Granted I've only completed it a handful of times, but we have 2 guys go to the left who focus on the 3, 2 guys on the right, which usually 1 guy says he'll do all 3, then 2 of us in mid and usually one will keep their eye on oracle. What's the most common way, and how do you guys do it? There's quite a few people in our other discord who are down to do it. We could get quite a few teams/options for raids now.
From what I have been told everyone is assigned one oracle. One person has to cover two. When your oracle comes out just say your name. So all you have to do is remember who's name is before yours. The way we do it is have each oracle assigned a number 1-7 and just call them out as they pop up. Just remembering the order gets a little hectic sometimes with so many enemies. But overall it works fine. We just have to cleanse every now and then.
Yeah I’m not at all a great pvp player and got into a group with one really good guy and one mediocre guy earlier and we went flawless extremely easily, only lost probably 3 rounds the entire card.
Same. We've nearly been flawless several times even before the changes. This weekend it was honestly too easy. Doesn't even feel like an achievement now.
Is anyone still playing the season? I had the glitch and I had to delete the quest and go restart it so I’m 53 fucking missions behind and pretty much saying fuck you to destiny at this point. And fuck going and finding all those things in the DC again for an exotic I’ll never get anyways and a few cutscenes
They’re time gated so you can only do a handful each week so the quest is only a little over half at this point. And half of the steps are “talk to Mara” or go see “Savathun”. You can knock everything out in like 90 minutes.
So, Bungie banned my account. Why? I have no fucking clue because they don’t tell you. Appealed my ban and denied because…again I have no fucking idea because they don’t tell you. Didn’t cheat, haven’t even stepped foot in trials. I have a cheat engine I was fucking around in Deathloop with since I wasn’t enjoying it and wanted to push further into it and see if it got fun. I guess Destiny could have somehow detected that. I included that info in the appeal and didn’t matter. Anyway, the game still has its fucking hooks in me even if I wish ill will on Bungie now. Anyone know if I can simply create another steam account from the same PC or do they do hardware bans?
Google tells me I’m not the only one to experience it but who knows how honest people are being. Bungie is super opaque about it so I really don’t know what happened. I have to assume I still had the Deathloop cheat engine running in the background and logged in and it was detected even though it wasn’t for Destiny? I hate that I’ve lost access to Destiny over a game I ended up disliking anyway.
I'd guess that is exactly what happened. If they detect any external programs that are cheat based they will ban you.
Seems like an honest explanation would be enough coupled with monitoring any changes in my character/inventory when the program was detected. But they’re very closed off about it all saying repeat requests will be ignored, etc. There is absolutely no dialogue at all. Just created a new account, doing new light. So that worked. But my god the work ahead of me. Almost a little exciting on some level, I guess.
Gives you something to do I suppose. But yeah that sucks. I'm pretty sure if I lost my account I'd be done for a while. Probably come back eventually but I've had my same character since the D1 launch. Just couldn't stomach to lose them.
Yea I’m one of annoying since alpha guys, so it really does suck. I haven’t been playing much recently, I think I got banned for a log in to grab some stuff from Xur and that was it. But used to delete characters and restart from time to time previously, so it’s not a foreign concept. It’s just losing all the exotics and materials I had amassed.
Losing my materials and titles would suck. But losing God rolls I've spent countless hours chasing would hurt the most. At least weapon crafting is coming so maybe that won't be as much of an issue in the future.
Losing out on a game I enjoy for fucking Deathloop would make me burn down an orphanage. I’m convinced Microsoft and Bethesda made millionaires of every single human that reviewed that game. It’s amazing the difference in critic scored to user scores
I never understood it. Everything I saw about that game screamed average and then all of these 10's start coming in and it just didn't add up.
I figured we would lose edz or nessus first but I guess Tangled Shore has less content associated with it. No big loss.
I'll miss the Tangled Shore as I've enjoyed it's atmosphere and Kingship Dock is a great lost sector to knock out bounties/catalysts. But yeah, whatever frees up space for new content & locations though I wish it were the Moon being removed as it serves literally no purpose and Shadowkeep fucking sucks.
It’s Haunted Forest just in a lost sector but much quicker. You earn normal pages by playing the game (strikes, crucible, gambit, public events etc etc) and then upgrade those pages each time you spawn & kill a boss in the haunted lost sector. You then turn in the upgraded pages to Eva’s book for lore/increased drops.
you load into it through a separate node at the Tower, it's not just like heading into a normal lost sector
Agreed. I'm not even fucking with it since they nerfed all the decent page farms. So sick of them doing shit like that. Doesn't even make sense.
