Why not give Marve a shot at calling the D if a change is being made? He’s an up and comer with lots of potential. He’s gonna get a shot somewhere eventually. It’s not like there is anything to lose at this point.
Marve is an absolutely terrible coach and worse recruiter. he's the first position coach on his way out. even before doodoogans.
that said, don't trust our performance for anything. Marve will probably go somewhere else and be successful. We are a black hole of suck right now.

I have no clue. we're as shocked as you are. there's literally no development in the LB room. unfortunately, he's got 4 LBs; the best one is undersized and looks like safety, the highest rated one can't tackle and is a massive disappointment, the biggest one is slower than a NT so he can't cover, and the final one is just meh. what's really concerning is marve's recruiting. I'm guessing his shtick works better at a vanderbilt than in dade county? we are killing it in recruiting across the board, and other than OL, LB has the most playing time to offer, yet he can't get anyone to commit. the one guy he got committed is a nice 3rd LB in a class that could take four LBs if the right pieces were available. marve's clothing choices on recruiting events are laughed at by our fanbase routinely.
Playing for three years, not being thrown at, and losing half your games seems like a shitty college experience. Why doesn’t he just go to Alabama and win a couple titles.
