I was in the crowd when he main evented in front of 6k people. Idk. I’m not a huge fan but it would be crazy to deny he has a unique charisma that connects with a growing fan base. The people that love him LOVE him.
that's awesome. I know Owen's family won't do any business with WWE and they're reticent to mention or honor him as a result. It's good they can have a working relationship so Owen can be honored
Taking is a step further A King of Harts tournament that culminates in AEW’s Canadian debut in Montreal with a final of Kevin Steen vs El Generico.

On the one hand, Bearcat Wright was an important figure in desegregating pro wrestling. On the other hand, the name is so out of date, it's likely to make people roll their eyes (at best). If you don't know Wright's history, it's really fascinating stuff. He did a lot of good and a little bad, but overall deserves more recognition than he's gotten, so maybe the Keith Lee nickname will help with that. I don't get the connection to Lee, though, other than the superficial/Vince McMahon "they're both black!" thing.
It's exactly what it is and you are right, 99.9 percent of the wrestling audience will have no idea about any of that.
Bryan Danielson: "When I eat an apple, the tree doesn't die. Essentially, I'm eating the tree's sperm. I'm eating the sperm. It's tree semen. That's how they reproduce other trees. Most fruits are semen. Real fruits are semen because they contain the seed inside of them." Sounds like he's ready for tomorrow night.
Also: Dynamite Grand Slam has sold more tickets than every WCW PPV ever except for Slamboree 1999 (20,516), and they're going come between 300-1000 of matching that total. They won't surpass it though due to seating limitations.
It’s fucking wild AEW pulled off what we all thought was impossible. Punk, Danielson, Cole…all the rumors were true and it’s amazing. Cody better go down hard tonight too
