Bad turnover but his runs in the box and final third are not anything a current squad member does and would help stitch the forward and midfield together. Just get him away from the defense.

Kepa has his confidence back. He’s not close to Mendy but he’s back to the best version of kepa I think. Love to see him claiming some crosses. Will never be our number 1 and he will always be a bust with the price but at least he’s turned into a good backup. We will need him when Mendy is at AFCON
even worse, Barkley has come on and been a clear improvement. Saul isn’t better than RLC or even Barkley right now. Mount can play CM. Saul needs to improve a good bit to even make the bench at this point
I’ve only been half paying attention during work but seems like Ruben played pretty well deep. Would certainly help out with depth there if he can play the cups and crummy CL opponents and come on to close down leads.
it's always seemed like (at least to me) this was his best long-term position. Feels like he could really develop into a strong DM option if we just focused him there.

I feel like that’s interesting. I didn’t follow youth team formations but it was clear and obvious RLC was very comfortable in that role last night. He looked spot on.
