FWIW I heard that TS high shock drop stuff was BS. Someone said they wouldnt rule it out ever happening at all but for right now nothing was planned.

 

I’m not a sneaker head but I’m looking for some recommendations. I’m not really brand loyal but tend gravitate towards adidas (NMD’s) and Nike (air max 270).

Anything cool or outside the box y’all can recommend? I’m not super flashy but will consider cool color ways

outside the box? The Yeezys 350s are always a nice look and best in terms of comfort

 

If you like the NMDs try some Ultra Boost. Yeezy 350’s if youre willing to drop some money. New Balance 997’s have some nice color ways and dont look like dad shoes. Nike Waffles are hot right now.

 

Nike Space Hippie 01 is kind of out of the box. has some nice color ways out and a lot of them below retail on stockx.

 

Love Space Hippies. If I was forced into a 5 pair rotation, I'd have a Space Hippie in there.

 

I got 2 in my walking my kid at the park rotation along with nmd and ultraboosts

 

Speaking of rotations, pick 5 pairs you'd want for your rotation if you could have any pairs. Has to be 5 different silos.

*don't pick pairs you'd actually just flip, pick pairs you'd wear. Like it'd be cool to have Udftd aj4 but I'd be selling those things quickly

I have pairs like am1 Cherrywoods and am90 Maha but I'd take the og's for daily over both. Had to think about that but I would. Honestly I couke be pretty content with those 5. Hard call between am97 Silver Bullet and Spafe Hippies.

Im surprised they didnt really catch on. IMO the 01 is one of the best silo’s Nike has come out with in a while.

 

Agree. Only thing I don't like is the insole. It's a little squishy for me.

 

In this hypothetical do we get to have an unlimited supply of the 5 we pick? Like once a pair gets beat we get to replace it with a fresh crispy pair of the same shoe?

Kid Robot is one of the few am1's that many view as grails that just doesn't do it for me. I don't do black shoes so thats why. Not a fan of the pink on either though.

I have those Kaws 4 but haven't worn them yet. Need to dig those out but they are at a price now that idk if I'd actually wear them. That's the biggest issue I have with sitting on pairs. Some of them shoot up in value and get to where I like them but not enough to wear them, if that makes sense. Last I saw they were like $2500. I like them, but not $2500 like them.

when i was 9 the raider 91s started it all

when i saw chi mcbride wearing undefeated 4s i decided i didn’t care what any shoe was worth, if he can wear those, i can wear anything

 

The SBTG x Staple af1 is near the top of pairs I don't have.

And yea I feel you on the wear anything. I'm that way with am1 but thats really it. If j could find a pair of am1 Masters f&f for under $10k, I'd buy and wear. I think that ship has sailed though. I randomly found a pair on Stadium Goods about 2 years ago for $7500. They hadn't been on there long. I wasn't in a spot to do it bc we'd just signed a contract on the house so I sent them to a friend and he bought within 10 minutes. Biggest regret in sneakers for me. He's told his daughters to ship them to me if he dies lol.

 

Own or wish you owned, but realistic. So like if someone gave you a pair, you'd wear, not sell.

 

Sub out Space Hippie for Mars Yard 2.0. I've come so close to buying those so many times but the fakes are so good that I don't trust Stockx or Goat. I know a few guys with legit pairs that I trust but they won't sell them.

I think I’ve decided to go WAYYYY outside the box and go with the all white ultraboosts. Anything I should know buying from StockX? Found some for $120 with all fees

 

since they retail $180 that’s a good deal

 

StockX is pretty easy to use. May take 2-3 weeks to get them based on where they're sent from.

 

Last 4 Stockx orders I’ve gotten them in 1 week or less

 

Really into the look of the AF1 Mid Jewel NYC except for maybe the NYC part

 

All my stockx seem to come from europe

 

So are the mummy dunks not releasing or did I just miss out?

 

No clue what is going on with them. I saw the entire Halloween pack today and they arent in it. The dunk in the pack is meh but there is a cool presto. I assume the mummy dunk will release Nov 5th or some shit.

 

Yeah at least what I saw when first loaded the af1 and presto are fcfs instead of draw so no chance for me retail. I didn’t mind the dunk shown. Wanted the mummy though
