jesus dc's all about some bangers off the bounce they had a few moments of brilliance and had a couple of other nice opportunities with some direct play, but that was a match we largely controlled against a quality side that's also in very good form +3
Gressel gifting us goals, LGP gifting us pk's, the family is alive and well we had 4 cbs boss the fuck out of Higuain tonight surprised though at how many opportunities Araujo passed up to go at the defense when there wasn't much pressure on him +3
Araujo did not play his best today. Moreno looked pretty average in the first half too. Not sure what the deal was there but don’t care got the W
6th heading into the weekend, tied with Orlando behind us on gd as well as Philly/NYC ahead of us, 1 point back from DC in 3rd Nashville got a taste of their own shit blowing a two goal lead to Orlando in the final minutes
I was given some tickets from a neighbor in the truist club section and saw how the other half lives. I’m used to sitting behind the goal (non supporters section) but the free food and drinks were something I could get used to. It was also fun to see the game up close for a change and glad to see us get three points in a game where both teams were lackluster going forward.
yeah he's completely whiffed on a few opportunities that you'd think would have like a 90% hit rate of putting something on goal, and it's shocked the hell out of me every time
I think we've been sharp in possession just haven't connected with that final ball yet, but there were a handful of times we threatened to break through
We probably need to make sure we have a real backup striker next season. I’m not optimistic about Josef’s long term prospects with that knee.
Damm seems almost certainly on the way out, hope we use his spot on a tam level striker, preferably someone versatile enough to play on the wings too
well, they came out of the last break firing, regroup for more soul snatching haven't seen anything about Josef getting called in this break so I'm just gonna assume they know he needs a bit of rest and hope that doesn't backfire on me
My understanding is that he told them he can't go and needs to stay home and recover. He has not looked the same at all these past couple weeks. Not sure what the deal is, but it's not great.
well it wasn't pretty and we've probably lost Barco for Wednesday, but up to 5th with nyc getting the chance to hop us by a point today
it's nice that the two guys we need to take control of the attack tonight are both absolute workhorses
