He’s definitely on the roster. The first blip was the Dodgers hitting good pitches. Today he was leaving stuff up in the zone. I definitely try to find a spot for Strider in the WS. Webb and Martin cannot be relied on from the right side. I bring Langeliers in for Camargo and consider Gore over Arcia.
Revenue from The Battery next weekend gonna be amazing. Got the good home draw in that respect. Should be enough beers sold to pay Freddie, Dansby and all of them, for a few years.
This Astros lineup is a murders row. Look pretty balanced too. Alvarez seems to hit lefties as good as he does righties. Strider has to be included.

AA had to have one of the best trade deadlines by a GM ever. This shit would be awesome in itself, but the fact it’s happening when we were ravaged by injuries and had to cancel the season is special.
I’m sure he feels like a weight was lifted from the team. Gotten close but fumbled at the end. Just getting here can hopefully start a trend of playing looser without so much pressure.
Couple early braves memories. My mom is from atl and my grandmother used to watch every game. When I was in first grade she sent me a black and white drawing of terry Pendleton and some fruitcake lol. My mom made like 50 copies and I took them to my classmates for us all to color in. I grew up out in the country 60 miles from the tv station so I never got to watch any games unless they were national broadcasts. Used to listen every night in my room on one of these. Had to reposition if the atmospheric conditions ever changed because signal was so weak. I would come home and read every mlb box score. Sunday was best because all the stats for every player were printed.
On cloud 9 this morning friends. Dad and I secured our tickets for Friday night, and I absolutely cannot wait to share this experience with him. Like some of you all have already expressed, my Braves fandom commenced in the mid-80s watching Dale Murphy and Bob Horner play on TBS with my dad on those really shitty teams. We watched every game. He would allow me to stay up late to watch the west coast games, although I always fell asleep. We always went to a series together each summer and have continued that through my adult life, although we’ve missed a year here and there. My grandfather joined us for these trips after they moved to Charlotte and continued until his death in September 1999 to cancer (like 3 days after my freshman year of college). The worst to first year was so amazing, and this season has felt comparable to me and I’ve been able to share much of it with my dad, in large part because we watched more games together this year than we have in a long time due to YouTube tv not carrying Bally sports. He and I went to the super bowl out in San Francisco when the panthers played in it in 2016. While that was an incredible experience and a bucket list item, I feel this game Friday night will be just as special, if not more. He is getting older (76) and is losing his faculties a little bit, so shared experiences like game 3 will occur less and less, but goddammit we are gonna have so much fun Friday and I cannot wait. Is Tyler Matzek my favorite Braves player out of them all now right now? I still can't get over that 7th inning. He took all my "Here we go again they're going to blow the 3 run lead and the 3-1 series lead it's what Atlanta teams do in the playoffs blah blah" PTSD anxiety and kicked the shit out of it. I'll love him forever for that. Striking out the side like that was the most clutch thing I've seen in a long time.

This really has been a long crazy ride for most on her. My grandparents used to take me to Fulton Co. You could buy the cheapest ticket and then move down low. My grandmother caught a foul ball once and blocked the exit of the stadium where the players drove out. She wouldn’t move until Dale Murphy signed it. Wish she was alive for this and able to see the new stadium. She would absolutely be losing her mind right now.
My shit posting aside, chop on fellas. My dad hasn't cared about baseball in years and this series has reignited his passion for the Braves. Side note, even after giving up on baseball years ago he still refers to them as the dreaded, hated, no good, dirty, rotten dodgers.
Same. Grew up watching Dale and company with my grandfather and pops, then the 90s Braves with my pops. They also both really hated the Cardinals. Nowhere close to Dodger hate but still a lot.

Moved to Atlanta in 1991. My dad’s boss had season tickets, so I got to go to a ton of games, including World Series Game 3. I still have the hat and will be wearing it to the game on Friday. And yes, it is misprinted and says “Worst to Eirst” Now I get to take my son to game three 30 years later.
