I never had any issues with the podcast app until a few months back. Will definitely look into something else.
This is fixed. I did have to go back into my watch settings and re-enable. That might have been because I bought a new iPhone though. Either way, it works.
My iPhone is saying voicemail capacity is full but I delete all the voicemails. Is there another place it’s being stored that I have to delete there too?
If it’s where it says Deleted Voicemails/Messages under non deleted voicemails, yes. That’s what I’m confused about because I don’t know how else to delete whatever the phone is continuing to store
I think you could still have them on the system old schlll style? Like call your voicemail number like before iPhones?
My phone is way slower or even not concerted when I have the Ultra Capacity icon. I'm assuming this is a carrier issue but it sucks.
Messed with a friend's camera on the 13 Pro yesterday... noticeable upgrade from the wife's 12 pro & my mini. I've been informed we are upgrading.
Got my new 24 inch iMac yesterday... pretty cool. The M1 is super quick and this thing is super light. Most likely will move it to the den tomorrow so I can watch Red Zone and do some work.
my 2020 MacBook Air is running soooooo loud since updating to Monterey early last week. Like the fan kicks on the moment I pull up any website in Chrome fucking sucks. Would not recommend updating to Monterey if you've yet to do so
Should be able to browse as I want without the fan going wild. But tried Firefox and after 4 minutes playing Rick and Morty on Hulu it is blowing like it's trying to put out a fire Guess I need to get it looked at
chrome is notorious for being fucking awful at memory usage go and check activity memory>cpu and sort by cpu% to see if there is another app or background app using memory if not, reset smc & nvram https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295 https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063
same here. fucks up my MacBook and my iMac pro . i just stopped using chrome on both until things settle.
Was it recently updated? I havent noticed it. Just seems similar to most streaming apps. NF, HBOMax ect
Anyone done the Verizon or ATT upgrade to iPhone 13 for “free”? I’m still rocking a paid off 64GB iPhone8 and am curious what the gotchas are with this.
AT&T wasn’t free for me from an 8+, just a significant discount. Required upgrading, or already being on, an unlimited plan and you had to be sure to return the phone in 30 days.
Some juggsian research says it’s an Apple problem but has anyone on the 13(or maybe it’s an OS issue?) had problems with map location?
I did the Verizon deal for my wife and I. We had to upgrade her part of the plan $10/month more and we had to pay taxes on the phone but that was it We have a credit every month on the bill for the trade in at the same cost of the phone
that’s what I thought and my movie library is mainly Amazon. I’ll stick with the latest fire stick for now. Plus got it for $35 (wifi6 max)
I currently have the IPhone Xs and it’s working great but needs a new battery. Wondering if I should pay for the new battery and keep rolling or should I get the iPhone 13 or 13 Pro. I have $400 off either phone from Verizon if I trade my Xs in. What are everyone’s thoughts on the 13 or 13 pro?
You can probably get $800 for a trade in if you change your plan to one of the premium unlimited plans. Both my wife and I had XS’s and changed our regular unlimited to premium for an extra $10 a month and got $800 per phone and mine was damaged. Went to 13 pro. That was early November and Verizon. It would be worth inquiring. Saved $800 immediately by spending an additional $10 a month.
My wife wants a new laptop. Mainly dor casual browsing and taxes and not much else. We tried to make a iPad work but it just didn’t. Think like a refurbished MacBook Air would do the trick? Any issues with those?
It would. But up to you if browsing and taxes once a year is worth the apple tax. Lenovo. Asus. Dell make great laptops.
I know, I know. But she has always used a mac and we both have iPhones. I’ll prolly go refurbished but also bring up the others.
I wouldn’t go by year bc the switch year can be mixed. It should just say in the specs what the processor is.
What software does she use for taxes? Depending on that, it would be cheaper to just get a Windows or Chromebook if she isn’t dead set on having a Mac.
M1 really changed the game. I would not accept a free pre-M1 mac (if I was forced to use it and not flip it for ca$h)
Not gonna lie, I was mad when the M1 Mac Mini came out first. I had figured the Mini would be at the back of the line of the transition since that’s kinda their low end priority product. If I had thought it would be at the front of the line I would have waited. Would have saved me a decent chunk of money too. As long as it is still doing what I need it to do I won’t be upgrading though.
we have had this discussion. A chrome book would be fine IMO but that’s not what she wants. I’m getting a new desktop and gaming build that will do anything I need too sooo not gonna force her to a chrome book if that’s not what she wants
Just did it online yesterday and just waiting on the phones now. We were already with Verizon so best I could tell was the $800 per line upgrade. Previous phones were 8s so splurged as well to the 256 Pros over 24 months. We had to upgrade the lines BUT the new lines also come with Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ bundle built in- which before I was paying separately. So I think my net service bill actually went down a few dollars. Was that an upgrade or new line?
