Definitely hot though, still can’t get over the bozo hating Beth Hope the Jimmy story line does something, seems like this season needs it
Someone refresh my memory what the militia did in the first place for the boys to take care of them? Was that in retaliation to the rapes/KC's wife? Interested to see how they connect the guy in person to continuing this war
Sheridan irl is the cowboy goldmine he is in the show Really enjoyed first episode of his new show with Renner
The fucking scenes with the show horses left me with an erection lasting longer than 4 hours. A Gunner horse and I’m pretty sure a Hollywood Dun It horse as well
Yeah I don’t know shit about horses so it’s not something I can watch and be overly impressed by. Like I’m not awestruck by a horse running and stopping in the dirt.
was very good, show has serious potential but doesn’t have the margin of error of yellowstone where plot doesn’t matter/kill everyone Renner is great
I don’t know a damn thing about horses but those scenes with the show horses and a Colter Wall song are bad ass.
Cool seeing real horses and real trainers on a show like this. You can watch Taylor Sheridan ride for 10 seconds and realize he's an amateur which is fine, it's just funny when compared to the dialogue and how he acts. LTE of like $20k probably riding all the best horses.
Haha yea some of those stops he was on I was like “mistimed that”. So many elite horses in one pen is just a hell of a sight to see.
I don't mind the horses, but do we need to see them running and stopping for 10 minutes each episode? We are fast approaching the fine line of it being to much. Let's hope its transitioned out and we see acting to to advance this storyline.
I recognized a bunch of the guys from The Last Cowboy. I enjoyed that show a lot even though I haven't the first fucking clue about horse reining.
It’s beautiful. I think the hard thing to understand are the extremely subtle nuances of it when you’ve never done it. Which is common with most hobbies I’d guess. The horse will move a certain body part based on where you touch them, the way you change leads switching circles, the horse speeding up or slowing down based solely on where you are in the saddle. Just very precise, athletic stuff out of a half ton animal. It’s art in a dirt arena
Yeah, I was completely hooked on the show and was fascinated watching these guys train the horses even though I had zero knowledge of the subject. I just saw they are coming out with a second season too which is awesome.
Can't get enough of this show. It's as much as I've liked anything new in years and quickly jumping into my top tier of all-timers
I don't remember some of the smaller characters names all that well, but I'm guessing that Jamie's real dads name is on that list. Correct?
I think so. My hypothesis is his biological dad is putting all this in Jamie’s head and then hired the militia to take out everyone of the Duttons so Jamie gets everything then he somehow takes it from Jamie.
Agree. Think he plays it off as he was doing it for Jamie to be rewarded for all his hard work over the years. Thing that is bothering me and I know this is a tv show but all along the thing was no girls in the bunk house or had to be ugly or mean. Yet all of a sudden 2 attractive girls are allowed to hang out in the bunk house and the ranch which is causing drama. Lloyd's character has regressed to a jealous teenage boy. Seems like this is leading to a huge ordeal that causes Lloyd to do something regrettable or becomes a wasted phase that just fades.
Idk what the pre-conceived notion is, but it’s way more than just stopping. It’s virtually the western version of Dressage in the Olympics.
Anybody know if Paramount + is releasing the whole series (of the prequel) at once, Netflix style, or do they do it one week at a time?
