The last paragraph of that makes a really good point. There's a shit ton of things in this(and most shows made before the last 3 years) that would be deleted if people went through with a fine tooth comb. The fact they removed that episode because a Chinese guy is wearing "blackface" to reflect a non-human is so ridiculously outlandish...
When Rewatching 80’s movies with the kids, they picked up on damn near everything that would be problematic these days. Hell we watched the Turkey Drop episode of WKRP on Thanksgiving and they were shocked that Mr. Carlson (white station manager) offered Venus Flytrap (black dj) a watermelon. When I told Kendall the D&D episode was gone, she paused for a second after asking why and then responded with Chang in black face?
I feel like I watched it within the last couple of months on one of the streaming services and it was there. Guess I got in before the lock
god the 4th season is so bad. i watched the first 3 minutes of the premier and remembered how much i hated it, and then skipped to the Christmas episode. i don't think i had ever watched that episode, and it was God awful. skipped right to season 5
4 is just awful. Just finished 5. I put it above season 1 now. Season 1 was really slow to get going which I’d forgotten. Some great episodes in the back half but not the overall quality of 5. I think Id go 2>3>5>1>6>>>>>>4 at this point.

Every fucking time someone in New York tries to hail a cab while yelling "taxi!" And that shit never works in real life because they're all wearing headsets and are yelling at their dispatchers. Or people just use Uber now. Something like that. Not quite the same thing but yeah there's a ton of language and situations and shit in older shows that wouldn't be ok these days.
