Him refusing to play despite being healthy, putting in no effort to help coach up Keene, generally a dgaf attitude on the sideline, and people in the know who are saying it’s happening. Rumors have been Tennessee, LSU, Ole Miss, Miami, and maybe Clemson.

I was at that awful Cincy loss in 2019 and behind the bench. DG does not have the “it” or leadership factor. Awful composure and felt like we should have put in D Mac. Seemed like DG always caved under pressure= Tulsa loss
I don't have any hate for the kid. He had some really fun games but if he thinks he can step in the SEC or whatever hes gonna get crushed. He never played well against anyone actually good. His home/road splits have to be crazy.

feel the same way. and if you look at UCF recently our Program almost never has players leave that were 1s and getting playing time
I definitely don’t hate him, but this is the same feeling I had when Dwight Howard left. Dominate player but had flaws, could have gone down as an all-time great and we as fans were willing to overlook the flaws. DG is our Dwight Howard.
DG is an accurate passer with a rocket arm. He will win games with his skill for sure and will probably do well somewhere with good WRs and a decent line. I think we expected him to be a leader like KZ or Shaq, but that's not him. He wants to sell socks, show off his arm, get to the NFL. There are too many question marks at UCF and staying is a career gamble and with no real leader on the team he made the decision that looked best on paper. Honestly as long as we have a servicable QB and start ramping up recruiting I wish the best for him. It's his life and he deserves to do what is best for him. He waited till the end of the season and didn't make this move all about him. Probably the most selflessness he has shown since he came here. Good Luck DG
I’ve been saying he’s overrated and not a winner for a while. Having KZ for three years made it a little more obvious but DG never could make it happen under pressure. Great deep passer. Very accurate. He basically fits a very narrow scope of offensive systems.
I don’t hate him for leaving. He should go where he wants to go. I do think he is a douche for pumping his “brand” all year and then leaving. He think all those kids at the game with his merch give a shit about him at another school?

He didn’t have a Bortles or Milton moment but man I loved watching how the ball came out of his hand . the leadership and big game questions are legit but wonder if some of it was Heup’s coaching style more than DG just not having it

we just had an entrenched starter at the most important position leave the Program who may be top 5 if he doesn’t crumble mentally. our fanbase sucks most of the time but the reaction is expected here especially with the circumstances surrounding it it also makes 2022 behind schedule
