It's hard to compare the two given their circumstances, but not sure how it wouldn't be Kirby by any arbitrary measure of coaching I can think of. There was almost no flaw to his team's performance week after week. Out of 720 minutes of football, his team was trailing in 20 minutes of it.
They were picked 4th in the west and are going to finish the season ranked 7th or so. Pittman has Arkansas on a great path, but should he be rewarded for losing some close games?
Ole Miss played a much harder schedule than UGA and isn’t nearly as talented. Georgia had a great year and Kirby is a damn good coach. It’s the same reason Saban’s only won the award a few times. It never goes chalk.
It was beyond pathetic, we almost got Acc ref'ed with a hilariously awful spot among other things. Emory Jones is so fucking bad.
Lane Kiffin deserves COY because he couldnt come close to this Bama team with the best QB by far in this conference and yet two of the worst QBs beats them
Is Tank Bigsby a tier 1 runningback? Last year I would have said no question..this year has made me a little more of a doubter. I think Jarquez Hunter should be getting more run for them
it showed today, just mauled esp as the game wore on. Their Center does not belong in this conference. years of attrocious OL recruiting with Gus then they turned around and got one of the worst OL coaches of recent SEC memory
We got the same "playing after no helmet" penalty that Bama did today, difference is Dameon Pierce had the ball when it happened. Luckily he scored a few plays later.
