the thing about Texas is it doesn’t matter about $ and they’ll just keep doing it until they find a coach that doesn’t suck. Shit, might be down to a 2 year window for each coach now before they get fired.

OU fans are expecting the next Stoops/Riley because they don’t understand how this works and are spoiled as fuck. They’re used to 10 win + seasons every year for the last 20 years so the first time the new coach has a bad season they’ll freak the fuck out

 

So back to BV or Lanning.

having said that, Panthers offense certainly has taken a step back this year. You can blame personnel, but Brady and Rhule both played a big part in acquiring Darnold, having PJ Walker as backup QB, etc.

I think he needs like 5 more years. He is the age of most the posters on this board.

He's gotten a ton of help from Muschamp this year too. And obviously Kirby has taught him defense.

But about 5 more years learning program building, booster culture, etc.
