Carolina is doing just fine without Ned, but man what a robbery that trade is turning out to be so far.
Who would have thought that adding Keith Yandle and Rasums Ristolainen to the D-group would cause problems
1. They're getting the best goalie play in the league right now with Campbell. When he comes back down to earth I don't think they'll look quite as dominant. 2. They're definitely better than last year. Sandin and Liljegren have been a huge upgrade for their bottom 4. Bunting when factoring in his cap hit looks like one of the best moves of the year, too.
Get rid of the shootout. 5 minutes 3 on 3. If nobody scores each team gets a point. Its embarrassing to not score 3 on 3
I kinda liked the idea of a rule where you can't back out past the blue line intentionally once you cross it in OT.
avs are not themselves this year. Which is incredible because they are still doing pretty good. Once it clicks it could be scary.
Ha fucking Pierre. A year too early with that stupid comment. Fans and media are asking why he hasn’t spoken… do we really need him back in front of the cameras? Fuck no. Same thing with McGuire… seems to have “disappeared”. He was Sens patient one with the Covid and now he’s known as the rat and the GM doesn’t want him around. Injuries/Covid haven’t helped this season ( and a shyte coach ) but the young talent base is there. Until we get a new owner nothing changes.
Funny follow-up to this: Fans threw hats for Hyman's first hat trick Play was overturned for offside There was an empty net 2-on-1 to seal the game with McDavid and Hyman and McDavid kept trying to pass it to Hyman to get the hat trick but Pittsburgh (I think it was Rodrigues) refused to let Hyman get the hat trick and instead let McDavid score uncontested McDavid had to apologize to Hyman and looked genuinely sad Edit: found a video, different feed but you get the same effect
If only Buffalo can sort out in advance what games he'd be a Vezina contender and what days he'd be a sieve
