I think I remember people talking about True Linkswear shoes a while back in here, anyone swear by them? I’ve read other places where people say they’re the most comfortable golf shoe they’ve ever worn. Anyone know how structured the toe box is? Meaning, I like the firmness in the FootJoy Pro SL toes as I tend to have issues with weight shift, as opposed to a very soft structure like a normal tennis shoe
I have the true knits which are very lightweight and comfortable. I have friends that wear them on a daily basis. not much structure with them if that's what you need. I also have the true og's as my winter/wet/morning pair. They are great too but take a little getting used to if you aren't used to shoes with zero drop. Lot of structure here I still think puma ignites are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn.
I've had two pairs and both were the opposite of what you're looking for. They're comfortable because they run wider than most shoes in my experience. With that being said, it's been over 5 yrs since I've worn their shoes so they very likely may have newer models that are very different for all I know.
I did see in their FAQ that they offer a wider toe box and that definitely won’t work for my narrow little feet. I’m thinking it might be worth the shot with their 30 day trial
The knits run regular to width but the og's are definitely wider in the toe area, but that hasn't really given me any issues.
I bought a pair of the true og feels and absolutely love them. This year I pushed myself to walk 18 a lot more often especially on my after work morning rounds. First round I used them I felt so energized that I wanted go play 9 more. They’re tight enough in the midsole so the wide toe box is kind of nice for me. I also have super narrow feet. I did have to throw my heel inserts into them though. But that’s not a comfort thing, it’s something I’ve done with all my shoes for knee pain. Only downside is that I didn’t buy some 1.2’s as well for the wet mornings. My feels are a little more discolored than I’d like because of it.
Sam Burns just had one of the most epic ejections from the lead you will ever see. 4 shots from the same spot, first three rolled back to his feet.
It really just boils down to showing who's greedy and who isn't. The top level tour guys who are being asked to get on board with the Saudi thing all have accumulated generational wealth. If you're a decent human being and understand the gross human rights violations that are commonplace in the country you're supporting then the money grab doesn't appeal to you. These people are Rory, JT, Spieth among others. If you let the greed get the best of you and let yourself rationalize the Saudi's bullshit then surprise, surprise, you're someone like, Phil, Bubba, Poulter, Sergio, and Bryson.
Btw, I am disappointed to see the names of GMac, Xander, Adam Scott, and Westwood on the Saudi golf tournament list. I had always thought of them as being on my "good guys" list. I know, one decision or particular stance doesn't always define a person. This seems like a big one to me though.
Happy one year anniversary to me destroying Jigga at The Breakers and then the Palm Beach Par 3 in a made for tv 36 hole shootout. The shot of the match was me getting up and down from here for birdie. He was so pissed.
I like how I treat you to a day on palm beach island and this is how you respond to it. Says more about you than me.
Truly momentum was going my way into that hole and I already had a deep hatred for that hole before that day so once that happened I was done.
