jim solemnly closes the door to the meeting room sunday morning after losing 49-13 to osu. he kills 2 players before everyone realizes he wasnt joking and wrestles him to the ground
This is true on some level, but it's also biased by the fact that UM closes with OSU every year. Since he's never beaten OSU, none of the other wins can ever truly "matter". Combine that with expectations that he was supposed to do more than he has, and this is where it is. Like today, for example. No one would have called this a "signature moment" for Harbaugh if UM won today unless he also beat OSU. Same with beating ND in 2019. Same with beating PSU and Wisconsin in 2016. Same with beating MSU the times he has. It's the reality of his tenure, and also the nature of the UM/MSU rivalry. Everything about Harbaugh's tenure is about not being able to beat OSU, which has rendered everything else that has happened irrelevant.
If only I was good enough to put Bama and UGA logos on Omar and Brother Mouzone. But im not so use your imagination. Spoiler fuck Bama and UGA . I hope neither make the finals.
Harbaugh seems a whole lot brighter this year. Dude seems to be more relaxed and has taken that stick out of his ass. Good for him
He got dragged by so many people (and many were not UM fans) for that Saturday night that I can't believe he didn't take that down. Kind of makes me hate him more that he didn't because he's that arrogant that he doesn't think it makes him look bad.
If we could beat Clemson and win a conference title with this deal in 6 years I’d cut off a toe or two.
I know he’s not super popular, but I’m happy for him. Not a lot of guys in his spot would be able to swallow their ego and pride to take a pay cut, then bust their ass, turn everything around, AND distribute bonus money to overlooked employees. He’s a very awkward dude that still makes some questionable sportsmanship decisions probably out of zeal more than malice, but that distribution says a lot about his character.
Not a line, just a minute observation in case someone said something about it. I’m not bothered by the whole running up concept, especially when CFP seeding is involved.
is this in reference to Saturday? Just hadn’t heard this one in awhile. And yeah I agree that anything like that is out of zeal and not malice
He would not do Ferentz like that out of malice. He's mostly very respectful of other coaches. Day? Franklin? In a heartbeat.
He took a shot at Day about being born on third base when it's well known that Day's father committed suicide when Ryan was young. So he's clearly not above doing stuff like that.
This seems to be a shot at taking over a program at its peak from Urban and thinking you’re the reason for all that success
Harbaugh probably doesn’t even remember all of his kids’ birthdays let alone the details of Ryan Day’s childhood
