congratulations to aggies for dropping enormous bags maybe they can get to 9 wins some time over the next few years
i am also enjoying texas trying to pay all of these kids hundreds of thousands of dollars. i don't think their issue is recruiting. and the people paying this money are going to be insufferable with their demands on access
Goodwin is an enormous human being. He got a pic with Juwan when he was in AA for the OSU game in the spoiler where Juwan looks normal sized. Spoiler
#Georgia Bulldogs What are you guys hearing on Christen Miller? Is he a take for you guys? #Ohio State Buckeyes you guys too
He’s definitely a take for us, I have not read of even the slightest bit of optimism into landing him
Supposedly, not signing early. But then he says he may commit at All American game. He plays State Championship on Saturday so would see if either school uses their Head Coach in home or gets an Official Visit this weekend. If not, will go through till February. Right now, plan is just for Lanning and our DL coach to see him tomorrow.
Forgot the part about the kids not starting year one, because they are freshmen, then transfer back home with all their newfound money Shemar Stewart sounds like a solid example
Maybe he just wanted to bring his old class with him instead of keeping around the losers that were willing to sign with dan
Newberg mentioned he doesn't know where Marvin is going. He just isn't going to bet against Saban. Which is probably the safe bet here.
apparently Mario went in-home with him late last night after he did an in-home with the Littles. maybe he can convince him to OV?
Is Little Jr. visiting Miami this weekend? Marvin has one OV left and it's for UGA this weekend. Would be impressive if Mario got MJJ to cancel the Athens trip for Miami instead.
The major coaches do not seem to think he's good enough although the recruiting services still have him high. No idea on his senior tape. Similar to Azareyeh Thomas in some sense whose offers have seemed limited. Napier is supposedly backing off on recruiting Thomas.
no word on how the visits went, but the Littles wouldn't even take Manny's calls so step in the right direction
Our staff actually liked him a lot and wanted him pretty bad, they just tired of playing his games I think.
Definitely a take for us. Looks like we did an in-home yesterday. Has not been much positive momentum lately though.
From The Athletic recruiting confidential on Wisconsin: Which coaches do you trust the least? Coach 1: Tim Polasek, hands down. To me, he’s just a clown. And he’s gone now. He’s out in Wyoming, so he’s not really recruiting our guys. But when he was at Iowa and when he was at North Dakota State, he was probably one that I trusted the least. He’s kind of a jerk. And he’s a jerk to coaches, too. Only because I care about our kids getting to play, I’ll answer his calls and I’ll talk to him. But I’m taking this guy with a grain of salt. I’m not going to get all excited because a Division I coach is coming when it’s him. He recruited one of my quarterbacks once. This is when he was at North Dakota State. The coach asked him, “Where are you thinking?” The kid told him, “I’d like to go to maybe Wisconsin.” Regular North Dakota had been recruiting him and South Dakota State was in his top group as well. So he told him the schools. (Polasek) pulled out his championship ring, put it in his face and said, “You’ll never fucking get one of these.” And he left. I was like, “Are you kidding me?” Those were some of my first D-I experiences, so I was just like, “Well, maybe this is just how it is.” And then obviously I experienced a lot more and learned like, “No, this guy is a butthole. I don’t want him around our kids.”
He is from Iowa and they've been recruiting him forever and he can probably play right away and they have a competent defense that actually makes plays.
