It’s pathetic that part of me was initially impressed that the officer was fired so quickly. As someone else said, why was he not also immediately arrested? What was the threat that a gun was ever removed from the holster? And kind of joking but not really, why not shoot out his tires instead of murdering a human? I realize there aren’t good answers to these questions…
I know it's a dick move, but if the guy is brandishing a knife, threatening people, and shoplifting.....why not just kick over his wheelchair while he's in the parking lot? Feel like he'd be pretty easy to deal with from there.
Literally could have done a box maneuver with shopping carts there and the threat would have been neutralized.
We're also ignoring that literally the first thing you do in that situation is secure the door and don't let anyone in or out. What's he going to do, ram through it. Those automatic doors have one button locking mechanisms on them. And you're letting customers walk out into the parking lot with an active threat...
He’s asking how I came to my conclusion, what’s my problem. The critical point is that I have eyes and I know how to read. So, through years of observation and reading how the story cops put out never matches reality, especially when it comes to nefariously covering up their own criminal deeds, I have arrived at such a conclusion. This is what is wrong with me.
That has to be a lie. Cops never once told the truth is the kind of hyperbole that is cool in this thread but what a stupid statement.
Whatever, fucker. Especially when they’re trying to cover for one of their bad apples, they invariably lie.
After 8 rounds... what's one more? It's not like the 9th one was gonna be the deal-breaker. Also... JFC. The guy spills out of his wheelchair and splats onto the ground. And the cop proceeds to handcuff his motionless corpse.
You could tell me this was for another season of Reno 911 and I'd believe it. The promo pic from said hypothetical season and this pic would be interchangeable.
Cops have always thought they are the ultimate authority and can’t understand/deal with even the slightest amount of push back. It’s crazy how fragile they are. At the very least that cop needs to be suspended without pay. You can do your job properly without violence.
This comes out today on HBO - detective that was set to testify against 8 officers in grand jury killed the day before testimony. https://www.yahoo.com/news/sean-suiter-testify-against-fellow-100025354.html
I do have to say, I am surprised that Torrance has fallen so far. It was all just fun and games downloading music and videos but now? Smh.
I always have a pit in my stomach when I see a notification in this thread so I thought I would share something more lighthearted.
