Wonder what his board looks like. Be pretty swell if he pulls in a top 20 class this late in the game.
Stack it with 2-3 more classes of similar strength, and we are talking, but this class alone isn’t enough. It’s obviously an ideal starting point, though.
What is a&m naming the 2nd place in the west title? I I'd still take the under if you limit it to 4 years.
Texas A&M has only signed 5 5*s since 2016 until this class We have 6 5*s currently in this class and looking to get 2 more
A&M has the money, the program support, the brand. Basically everything they need to have a powerhouse program. Now they’re bringing in the players at the top level. Nothing to keep them from competing year in and year out IF they can manage the program and the teams. Jimbo has shown he can trip over his own feet plenty. Will be interesting to watch.
as much as i hate to say it i would be shocked if they don’t win at least one natty with this class. OL is their only question mark, everywhere else is stacked
The main question is how well this group meshes in terms of team chemistry. Saban has mastered this to a degree nobody else has to date. But when you look at Jimbo’s prior regime unraveling at FSU or Meyer’s end at UF, they were super highly rated classes full of head cases and the locker rooms got out of control. I don’t see any obvious head cases in A&M’s class (maybe Nolen), but it’s the thing to watch moving forward.
Outside of Texas they are known as the 3rd or 4th best program in Texas, located in the middle of nowhere with a weird cult-like alumni base who has only one 10+ win season and no conference title in over two decades.
Until we actually witness a QB take the berating from bob and laugh it off the way Jbooty did then it will continue to be the biggest question mark
