black cherry seems like.. idk. almost a weed? but i dont know. when i googled hackberry i found a similar thing. people don't grow it on purpose. i get the same vibes about cherry, which i have in my yard : there's attractive understory cherry which aren't native, and then there are native cherry which aren't attractive.
knowing what's behind that link (a 1995 era website that is the best empirical investing system) makes that very funny
Based on this comment just invest in your 401k, IRA, roth IRA, or anything similar that you can access. Even a mutual fund would be fine, but based on your comment you are inexperienced and those investment vehicles at this moment would be smarter than what you have listed without any sort of knowledge. You can then learn and from this and then start doing things on your own if you want. Hopefully this doesn't come across as a douche post, just trying to help out if you have limited knowledge on investing.
Up in the old hotel by Robert Mitchell, also the tender bar. The latter is going to be a movie soon Cornelius Suttree
One of our dogs has heard the Geico commercial with the kids in the inflatable pool upstairs enough that she starts barking as soon as she hears “cannonball”, before the dog even starts barking in the commercial. My Dane freaks out every time he sees the Army COD style commercial, apparently he does not support the troops.
I don't think I've ever worn leather clothing of any kind. Maybe tried on a leather coat for a moment a few times
I was going to say belt, but I figured he would get technical with me. But it's obvious our resident burnout has fried his short term memory.
My kickball league got canceled today :( Not enough teams this season. Hopefully more people sign up for next season.
first time I've ever felt blood rush back to my face and pulse for a few minutes from cold. I feel like people could get addicted to this sensation if the payoff were quicker, but it takes a couple hours of getting blasted in the face (phrasing) by snow for a couple minutes of a cool, but not otherworldly feeling
Had a 103.9 degree fever a few weeks ago from Covid, and I woke up on the floor with my arm in pain. I dislocated it twice since; really hoping I didn't aggravate an old High School injury.
Moving into a new apartment next Saturday. First time living in my own place post divorce (not finalized yet). Excited, also a mix of other shit. Edit: First time having my own place in 9 years also.
For the KU and Chiefs game today, I made bro’s chicken tender recipe I learned about in his 2022 thread last week (https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/buttermilk-fried-chicken-tenders-2.html) except made a regular Buffalo sauce and a honey bbq sauce instead of a hot chicken sauce. Holy hell they were good.
We have this weird phenomenon here called inversion where it gets warmer the higher you go. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inversion_(meteorology)
The hot chicken sauce is damned good too if you're into it. Really easy to make once the chicken has been fried.
