Random discussion dish / hand towels in kitchen I’ve always had a couple towels around to dry hands or pots/dishes. Wet counter. I’d use paper towel to clean anything. Towels were for drying basically clean stuff. living with gf and I was made aware of new rules. She uses a ton more paper towels. So I put out some towels. Basically there are 3 categories of towels: 1. drying hands that she doesn’t trust are fully clean 2. Drying dishes as towel #1 is questionable cleanliness 3. When a towel above is ready for the hamper, dry off the counters and it’s finished. plus many paper towels. Have I been poisoning myself for years or is this what is normal?
One for hands/dishes, one for random wet spots/counter splashes. Paper towels for cleaning/other ancillary uses.
I keep one for hands can be used to dry dishes Wife keeps one wet in the sink for randomly cleaning stuff and also randomly tosses whatever towels I have for hand in the laundry hamper leaving me with nothing to dry hands with
I guess I just realized I use paper towels for the counter almost exclusively. If there’s just a little water I’ll use the dish drying towel
No kitchen hand towels anymore. Paper towels for that. Dish drying towels washed and replaced after each use.
So our neighbor's wife has now damaged their electrical again - they literally just got it fixed. First time was a blower and this time was a hose. Just get the woman a maid at this point - she's a damn liability.
GF likes to cook for us. Her new thing is making the biggest mess you could possibly make then saying since she cooked I do the dishes. I would rather cook and clean then deal with her fucking disaster mess she makes.
Was blowing debris (it was windy and rained for once) and somehow hit their inbound. Sprayed water directly into an outlet next to their garden.
Or may have used a blower in the outlet she had previously just sprayed water in - I can't imagine the absurdity of what she does within the house.
This is me but I’m the cook and mess maker. Wife doesn’t like cooking and I’m better. I also could never clean standards so it’s a win win
Yep. My wife's a big fan of leaving me without a kitchen towel to dry my hands and also yelling for me to bring her a towel every single time she's taken a bath ever.
exact same thing. I finish eating and immediately clean. I’ll clean whatever I can while finishing cooking
even tonight as soon as I’m done I rinse my stuff and go straight to the dishwasher. She just goes to the couch. “Hey babe when you shower put your shit away please”
When we moved into the new place wife agreed to having to get rid of 5 items every day until the place wasn't cluttered. Meanwhile endless Amazon boxes and 3 chairs at a time are arriving. Excel sheet ensued - but the house always "needs" something. The premise was sound - but you can't stop amazon.
You're clearly not buying enough, Amazon stock is down 16% this year. You can make it up to me by buying some Apple products through Amazon, maybe Google them first and click on all the ads.
Understatement to say the least. MLS can wear whatever she wants at all times within reason. Also the absurdity of outfits depends on region: JH - 4 LA - 7 Vegas - 8ish depending on events Miami - 9.5ish depending on events Halloween - 12 at minimum
All of that makes sense. Guessing paper towel usage is similar. Except homegirl implemented no paper towels. Works great.
I just made a drive from Detroit to Tampa (not direct, several stops all over the place) - but still would have probably guessed wrong if posed the question of which was further East.
Another Atlanta one: What's the closest (geographically, as the crow flies) baseball team's stadium to the Braves' stadium? Spoiler Cincinnati Bonus odd tidbit: It has the highest elevation of any state capital or major city east of the Mississippi
Hmm, not sure where google is getting that, Great American should be 77 miles closer: https://www.freemaptools.com/how-fa...and-755-battery-ave-se_-atlanta_-ga-30339.htm https://www.freemaptools.com/how-fa...and-755-battery-ave-se_-atlanta_-ga-30339.htm
Whoa, look at Mr. Big Shot over here entering in the exact addresses of the stadiums. If somebody were to do a cursory search like “Atlanta to Tampa” or “Atlanta to Cincy,” I bet they’d feel pretty stupid right now.
