The DQ in Rhododendron, OR serves up some really fucking good hot eats and cool treats that hit harder after coming off Mountain Hood.
I tell you what, the frozen Arby’s and Checkers fries you get at the supermarket are better than their competitors.
I found a couple frozen tater tot brands that are legit. I watch cooking stuff on YouTube, so I’ve been suggested videos about how to make my own tater tots. There very idea of which seems like one Dante’s circles of Hell.
Checkers frozen fries suck imo. They are half the thickness of the retail ones and just don't work for me.
since tmb has been around i'm probably at like a 500:1 ratio of reading about fast food to actually eating it the knowledge base on fast food menus some of you are working with is honestly impressive to me and I think it's why i read these dumbass tangents, but i really should stop
the depth of disappointment from dblplay1212 as he described how underwhelmed he was by the KFC Double Down is my favorite tmb fast food memory probably the only one, but still impressive as wikipedia's Double Down page claims that it came out in the US April 2010 anyway here's the double down's lengthy wiki entry because nothing makes sense Double Down (sandwich) - Wikipedia
SMH Pedigree is basically horse meat. Better off with Crave or Hills Science Diet if you want your pets heads to not fall off.
Hungout with a former green Beret on a bachelor party this weekend. We got hammered and I asked him if he had a general idea of how many people he has had to kill and he said yes, he has a decent grasp of the number. Didn't ask anything more. Later on he started telling a couple stories and I'll just say that I'm really happy there are people like him in this world bc F all that.
Had one of these happen in college, not that bad, but I had made a Sam’s club run for the office I was interning at, I used the company credit card and a fairly attractive red head who was checking me out said, “Oh you’ll need to write a phone number on the back of that receipt,” (it was back when you actually had to sign receipts). Being an idiot and oblivious, I said, “oh let me look in my phone I can’t remember the office number,” and wrote that on the receipt. Sometimes life comes at you fast.
read through a good bit of that thread, the ones that really got me ended with some sort of version of "i think about this at least once an hour"
Oh man, that story came flying back into my brain the second after I started reading it. This image kept coming to mind..
I have one of these...in HS, picked up girl for movie/dinner. She said, was hoping you would get here early so we could go park by the river for a little bit. Told her that would have been fun, but wouldn't make the movie on time if we did that and preceded drive past river straight to the movie so we wouldn't be late. Didn't realize my fuck up until years later....
