From my gay friend… Yeah. I mean, essentially using “cocksucker” as an insult is saying that sucking cock, like gay men, is a sign of weakness. It’s likening being gay to being weak. And the fact that a gay guy uses it doesn’t matter. Number one it’s a sign of internalized homophobia and self-loathing. And number 2, that doesn’t mean it’s an excuse for anyone else to use it. Same way I would never use the N-word no matter how many black people I know use it.
