Today’s word was hard 6/6, but the site glitched and refreshed it for me and let me replay. So now I have a 1/6!

Does anyone else try 10 different letters in the first two tries and then go from there? I’ve been doing that this week and it’s worked out well. Pretty much guarantees you won’t get it in two but seems to be easier to get it in three or four. For instance, here’s mine for today: FARMS POINT SHEAR SHARD Having POINT in the second guess eliminated SHARP, which I prob would’ve guessed in the fourth slot. Maybe this is a bad example, other days have given me more letters/placements in the second guess.
Yes, some people do up to 3 words with all different letters. We call those people, and you, cheaters Spoiler jk it’s a way to play the game where you are basically guaranteed to get it every day. It’s a smart strategy
Knew it was one of the 3 last guesses and of course it was the last one. Could have hit 3/6 by making guess 2 a word with 2 or 3 of the last letters in it but meh.
That’s the difference between normal mode and hard mode. Hard mode doesn’t let you do that. When the game first came out, we had lots of conversations about what the best words were for that strategy (check the first few pages of this thread for ideas.) LEAST ROUND CHIMP CREAM SOUPY FLINT etc.
I read in a couple places that arose was a really good first guess. Didn't really look into why but that's what I've been going with.
