it was Palmeiras fans going nuts on a yacht in Dubai. not sure what happened it looks like her whole page got deleted.
New Zealand's center back has three own goals in the first half against USWNT. A perfect hat trick too (right foot, header, then left foot)
I think if Hull picks up a few more points, Derby's escape will become near impossible. Hull plays last place Barnsley today. With Hull's likely 3 points, and a non-winning result against Millwall, I could see Derby's odds reduced to about 15% by tomorrow and worse by the weekend.
Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Being a war instigator hasn’t meant an auto-ban in the past, but with multiple teams pulling out, I don’t think there’s ever been this much pressure on Fifa.
Israel got like 12 free games in 1958. Chile held an execution party at their national stadium and got a free pass when their opponent refused to play I would never count on FIFA
Czechs refusing now too. Fifa must be furious Russia didn’t finish 1st (or 3rd) which would have at least given them many more months to decide on something.
I don’t think it’s simple as “do the right thing” for FIFA. Their default position is to remain neutral, which is probably why they haven’t in the past banned every other country who has invaded or occupied another nation (Saudi, Israel, the US, Russia in the past, etc.) I also don’t really blame them for not wanting to have to judge each nation’s crimes going forward and decide what is bad enough to warrant a ban. But I think we will see Russia reluctantly banned due to the amount of outcry and the other three countries refusing to play.
Another good thing about this is none of our clubs will be tricked into buying a Russian player that impressed in the World Cup thanks to doping.
