can’t play DK anymore due to where I live but you are on the right track. Big thing about UFC DFS is don’t get sucked into spending the entire budget just because you can. Find your money fights and build around them. Find high variance fights and take both sides. haven’t looked at prices, but here’s a dummy example: lineup 1 Adesanya Brunson Phillips Arlovski Grishin Lewis Lineup 2 Adesanya Brunson Phillips Arlovski Grishin Tuivasa Rinse/repeat w the other fights that should have a high score but toss up winner Some people don’t like doing it this way, they prefer to just try and thread the needle based on gut. If you are just playing for fun with small buy ins then do you and enjoy the fights! hope this helps (should add this is multi-entry gpp strategy, cash games and single entry are a bit different)
Bisping is fantastic on commentary. Joe Rogan having a schedule conflict (in his new home state) when he works for them like 8 days a year is absolutely Disney telling UFC to get him the fuck off the telecast for now.
Yes, definitely helps. Pretty much about what I do already, but yeah sometimes I see I’ll have salary left so I might grab a higher priced guy instead, so good to keep in mind not having to actually spend it all
i think it’s proven by now that dana will tell anyone to fuck off when it comes to his business, so i’m leaning towards believing the tweet
Seems like ive seen more predictions for Lewis tonight. He did so poorly in Houston last time Im worried abour him getting too nervous again. I dont think he cares about being a gatekeeper, but I think being at home/big crowds has an effect.
you are blaming his loss on being in Houston and not Gane being a absolute nightmare matchup for him and pretty much everyone else not named Ngannou?
weren’t they against him setting up fight island and putting on shows in the beginning of the pandemic?
Honestly don't know. Just saying if Disney really gives a fuck and really throws their weight around, Dana is going to do what they say.
Not the big write up like normal, been unexpectedly busy the past two days. But what I like: --Grishin is smart, I like him by decision if he can survive the initial onslaught from Knight. Pass on DK. --I don't like betting against a guy named Blood Diamond, but he's sloppy as hell and is on the card as a favor to Izzy. Lots of spinny shit and unorthodox though. Been through some kickboxing wars. Wells has finished his L3 inside the 2nd round, I think he attempts takedowns and wins ITD if he doesn't get caught with something crazy. Small sprinkle on both on DK. --Might have a small sprinkle on de Andrade if I need a salary saver, otherwise pass. Neither's a scorer on DK, Morozov is way too pricey. --Dobson is explosive as fuck. 4 first round finishes in his last five fights. He'll be a core play for me at 8.2k. --Lawrence is a take down machine. Probably my favorite play along with O'Neil in the 9k range. --Cherant is garbage. Ulberg has the 2nd best first round odds on the card. 4th best line movement. I'll have some exposure here. --Phillips win/$ rate on this card is 21st. 2nd best ITD odds even though he's only finished 1 out of his last 4 fights. Pass for me. --O'Neill is sending Roxanne into an early retirement. She's finished her last 4 fights, I expect another early finish here. Massive talent gap. --Bobby Green is 3rd on the card in significant strikes per minute. I expect him to win by decision, might have him in a couple of lineups at 8.4k. --Moicano's chin has been cracked by non power punchers in his last few fights. He's fighting Hernandez in his home state, who has dynamite in his hands. Hernandez by 1st round KO, core play. --Can't get a good feel on Brunson/Cannonier. Cannonier's not a high scorer on DK, 19th in SS/m, 22nd in takedowns. I could see Brunson laying and praying, but his win streak is kind of a sham. Beats bums (and Till), no wins over quality opponents. I'll probably pass altogether. --Tuivasa has finished his past 4 fights. Lewis is very low volume, he's 1st round KO or bust. Even when he's had 1st round knockouts there's been several times he didn't land on the optimal lineup. I like Tai a lot here. He'll be on a lot of my lineups. --Adesanya's not traditionally a finisher, but he made quick work of Whitaker. Whitaker's kind of just had this "happy to be here" attitude this week. Izzy wins, not sure how. He's 20th on the card in wins/dollar rate, so I'll probably fade this fight and hope Izzy wins by decision and both guys sink a lot of lineups. Always massive ownership in the main, but when you see the lineups that take down big GPPs, they typically fade the main. Hoping to get some ownership leverage taking O'Neill over Izzy at the top. Great card tonight. Let's make some money.
My exposure: Tai 83% Hernandez 83% O'Neill 83% Lawrence 83% Dobson 67% de Andrade 50% Green 33% Wells 33% Whittaker 33% (salary fit at 7k) Cannonier 17% Ulberg 17% Blood Diamond 17%
Guy with no ground game vs fighter who tried to run around the cage to start the fight and almost tripped and fell on his ass lol
