God...AEW's roster is so stacked already, and now Claudio Castagnoli too?! He'll finally be able to break out his full move set.
This Claudio’s deal expired, he can debut at any time. Putting him with Danielson and Mox as guys that want to wreck shit would be great.
Nick Wayne would be a good one to add to that Moxley/American Dragon stable for training purposes. Won't be involved in the ring on TV/Dark until he's 18 (I'm guessing), but that's two high work rate guys that know how to get shit done in the ring and on the mic that would be perfect to train with. Would like to see some women added in there too. Serena Deeb would be perfect for a woman leadership role in it, I mean like as perfect of a fit as one can humanly be. But for the younger female members someone like Anna Jay, Tay Conti, AQA (thought she had a solid performance against Cargill), Hayter, Julia Hart, Statlander, Hirsch, Riho.
I'm probably the only one, and I know there's some can't miss talent TK should sign. But I feel it's been a little overboard lately with the wwe/nxt talent. He's signed so many people from NXT which didn't draw a single segment vs AEW talent and people no one cared about on the main roster. I wish he'd chill some, I'm invested in the OG AEW peeps that deserve a lot of that shine. Cesare just another great worker in a company full of great workers. I'd be ok if he didn't get signed, but fully expect him to. TK falling into the Haitch trap of trying to be a IWC hero.
who are OG AEW guys? Darby, MJF, Sammy? Sammy is the tnt champ, MJF is one of the main draws, Darby is on tv every week
I mean everyone that contributed to kicking NXT/WWE's ass all those week. Legit only week I can remember NXT won was when Cole and Lee had the title vs title match that was spoiled. The men didn't draw shit outside of that. But Fish, KOR, Murphy, Nese, etc getting signed like they're difference makers. Swerve I get, dude fills a weakness and is legit.

Going to a GCW show tomorrow night with Wayne on the card. He's going to be wrestling Blake Christian/Trey Baxter so the match should be a crazy spot fest. Entire card is stacked. We're likely living through the golden era of indie wrestling right now. Just saw Moxley being promoted for a random show in Texas coming up. Kind of hope Cesaro tours the indies for a while before joining AEW.
Hopefully it's better than the one they hyped up like crazy that pretty much went down hill after like the 2nd match
Last week was a big dip for every show in the ratings. Dynamite was still third for the night. Odd outlier. Also worth noting that over the past 2+ years, Dynamite has shown stability and even small growth in a time when other shows have trended down in viewer numbers
When is the last time he's been interviewed? Seems like it's been a while since I've seen him talking other than a random blurb on screen here and there
Another major name is expected to take part in WrestleMania 38, which will surprise some. POST Wrestling can confirm that Vince McMahon is expected to launch a program with Pat McAfee, which will include WrestleMania 38. Multiple sources informed us that McAfee was set for something on the show involving McMahon. When speaking with a source with knowledge of the situation and whether it will be billed as an official match on the WrestleMania card, we were told “most likely.” McMahon will be appearing on The Pat McAfee Show this Thursday at Noon Eastern and will presumably, begin the story.
Pat was pretty impressive in the ring during his run in NXT. I’m guessing Pat is the fill in for Shane. Looking forward to Pat and Austin in ring should be fun.
It was crazy. He did a double cross on X Pac at the end and the crowd was throwing cans in the ring. Then people started throwing the metal beer buckets full of ice. Brett Lauderdale tried to come in and talk to the crowd but had to immediately bail out.
For a thread who hates WWE and doesn’t watch the product you guys sure as fuck love to follow it in every other way along with posting spoilers. Gracias.
Watching GCW from last night. NEver seen Nick Wayne wrestle before. This guy is pretty good for a 16-year-old. He's got a bright future. Hopefully he'll be able to bulk up more as he ages but I don't think he'll be able to bulk up as much as you'd typically like to see out of a main eventer. I mean it's not required by any means, see Adam Cole, but it certainly doesn't hurt.
Even a crazy fucker like Vince isn't taking bumps at his age. McAfee was awesome in his 1st match, but it's not exactly the Undertaker taking care of him in there either.
Also, current card for AEW Revolution is ridiculously stacked and, pending one tag team and one singles competitor TBD, it doesn't even feature notable talents like Kenny Omega, Lucha Bros, Pac, Kings of the Black Throne, FTR, Daniel Garcia, Young Bucks, Jay White, Miro, and Santana and Ortiz, Dante Martin, etc. This is going to end up being like a 4-hour PPV. SHould be starting it at 7 instead of 8 given it's on a Sunday. AEW World Championship: "Hangman" Adam Page vs. Adam Cole AEW Women's World Championship: Dr. Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa AEW World Tag Team Championship: Jungle Express vs. reDRagon vs. Casino Tag Team Battle Royale Winner TBS Championship: Jade Cargill vs. Tay Conti Face of the Revolution Ladder Match: Keith Lee vs. Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Ricky Starks vs. Wardlow vs. Orange Cassidy vs. TBA CM Punk vs. MJF (Dog Collar Match) Jon Moxley vs. Bryan Danielson Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Kingston Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin & Sting vs. Andrade El Idolo, Matt Hardy & Isiah Kassidy (Tornado Trios Match)
It's much easier to write stories with heel champs and right now AEW has too many babyface champs. If Thunder Rosa wins (as is likely) then that would be every title holder is a babyface except for Jade Cargill. Something's gotta change. Too early for Hangman to drop it. Jurassic Express just won it and have barely defended it. Gotta think Sammy will drop the TNT title to a heel, and soon.
This thread has always been bad about spoilers for any sort of wrestling programming. It's why I don't click on it if I'm not up to date on my viewing.
In the past we were ok with it especially around RR and Mania. It takes nothing to hide the post behind the spoiler function.
