It's like Tamiflu. 5 days, 3 pills in the morning, 3 at night. It made the symptoms almost disappear after day 2.
I was in bed Tuesday, 4/5 and Wednesday, 4/6 with fever, chills, shakes, loss of smell/taste, aches, headache & bad congestion. I couldn't move. The whole fucking list. By Friday, I felt normal.
From what I read, originally, it was for only people that are high risk. Now, doses are just sitting in pharmacies.
Like everything else, the messaging on Paxlovid has not been good. It's a therapeutic pill that your GP can prescribe for you. You have to start it in the first few days. If anyone you know gets covid, encourage them to ask their doctor if they can take it. If you take certain meds, you can't take Paxlovid, so check on that with your GP.
Yeah that's like tamaflu.iirc. you have to take it within like 48 hours or something like that of getting the flu
it is annoying. would be nice to know that it is ok to take this or that antibody if you get it even if you aren’t high risk on paper
