I’m still waiting for them to call back to Steven’s mom. Steven was only leaving her messages. Could she be in a hospital or facility in a coma and that’s what caused the trauma, and Steven can’t process the reality?
Maybe I need to rewatch the episode but I have absolutely no idea what was happening at the end of this week’s episode.
2 interesting theories I saw. The first is that Marc’s line to Layla about dating/marrying her because “he finally had control of his situation but that recently changed.” I guess the dates line up that Steven and “the other guy” may of been blipped so Marc gained control, settled down, got married, but then when everyone came back Steven took back over the body and that’s why Marc suddenly disappeared. The second I guess has been confirmed by some on the creative team so I’ll spoiler it. Doesn’t mean much for MoonKnight but could be huge for the MCU. Spoiler In the last episode when he was fighting the 3 knife thug guys. The symbol on their jackets was that of Pharaoh Rama-Tut. That’s who i immediately thought of when Harrow said “Amit’s first avatar betrayed her”. When he found that sarcophagus I thought it was Rama-Tut and started freaking out thinking he’d move the lid to reveal some crazy ass Kang tech inside.
Sad to come in here and read so may simpletons don't get what is going on. I'd explain it to everyone but I just don't have enough time and also don't want to ruin it for anyone so I'll just keep it to myself. I totally know what's going on, though.
See I figured that was from Harrow’s men pulling him up out of the water. The other thing that jumped out to me was that the mirror in the upper corner of the hallway didn’t have either of their reflections in it. Maybe significant, probably not.
Assume so. From what I’ve seen hippo is the fertility god but she also sat on Seth’s dipshit ass so Horus could slit his throat and become king,
I think the Hippo and Marc/Steven/etc are all in whatever underworld the gods get sent to. I think Konshu will be there too. At the end credits the little stone things they turned Konshu into are all shown and a hippo is among them. They had that whole wall with the candles and stone statues they put Konshu in as well.
Great theory, would be cool if we see some underworld concept in this show. I also wonder if he has died before and gets resurrected or something . The little girl in the first episode had a line about him getting rejected from the sea of reeds and he says that doesn’t make sense because hes not dead.
Am I the only one who watches this before work on Wednesday?!? That was such a heavy episode for a marvel series. Sheesh.
As someone who typically despises filler, underworld, purgatory, coma etc episodes… That was excellent.
Same question. In a weird way, this sort of felt like a finale. No clue how they wrap up in just one episode.
