Just added them to my Apple wallet I take a golf trip to Tulsa every year and have a buddy that’s rich af that lives like a mile from the course where we will be staying. Going to get hammered and follow Tiger as much as possible
anyone tried sugar golf balls? looking into ordering either sugar or vice balls to save some money. i really liked the chrome softs and looking for something similar
Chrome Soft has been my ball going on 3 years now. Switched to them after using Pro V1x forever. My favorite direct to consumer ball I've tried over the years is Snell.
Traded in my old AP1 irons and picked up a used Stealth 3wood at Golf Galaxy last night. It was marked down to $250 and I was getting $100 for the trade in. I feel weird letting go of my VSteel but it was time.
I was a fan of these but switched to the Kirkland's because it's easier to just drop by Costco when I need one or buy the big pack.
Dtc I like snell and oncore, hate cut and vice. last year I almost switched to the TP5 but I’m team ProV1 optic yellow…unless I have some Srixon divides and don’t care how I play, just fun to watch the ball flight.
I’ve been on the snell mtb-x for a few years now. Big fan. Bought some of the blacks this winter and they feel great off the face but I don’t think they are as long. Could have just been the cold weather.
It's been discussed itt before but I know when I've tried them in the past they scuffed and got cut very easily. Also I'm pretty sure in independent testing (from MyGolfSpy iirc) their quality control from ball to ball was very inconsistent. This was a couple years ago though and they very well could have addressed and fixed those issues by now.
yeah rick shiels tested the pro plus and said the scuffing didn't seem to be an issue. may grab a box to see how i like them
Ping I525s prescribed from my golf tec fitting came in this week. Playing my first 18 with them tomorrow, very pumped. The new irons even sound better while clicking together in the cab of my truck driving down the road.
Is there anyway to stream/view this Korn Ferry event? They're playing at The Ledges in Huntsville and it's my favorite course I've ever played.
Nope. It apparently costs a couple hundred grand (or maybe more) to televise. Hoping to get up there this afternoon.
I shot a 78 yesterday from 6300 yards. I have shot 77 twice in my life, but both were from about 5900 yards. The round started out with a triple, par, double, and I was 5 over after 3. I then went 1 over on the last 15 holes. Shot 1 over on the back and missed a 4-foot putt on 16 to shoot even par. It was probably my best round tee to green in a long time. I hit 78% of the fairways and 78% GIR. The craziest thing, after the 3rd hole I literally thought I had completely lost my swing. It was running through my head, "will I ever be able to break 90 again"???? Somehow I got myself together, and got the wheels back on the track. Golf is a crazy game of emotions. . . All I will say is never give up, grind it out, especially when you post a triple or a quad.
DP World Tour... going into the 6th playoff hole. Arnaus shot 65 to tie third round leader Bekker who shot 72.
new shafts finally came in, got my m4's re-shafted and went to pick them up today. tried out the gap wedge and after about 10 hits the head flew off so they're gonna re-epoxy the whole set and i'll go back in a few days. very annoying
Does this sound right? I have to think out of that 20% there are a lot of on the fringe below the hole
Yeah this is a super skewed stat. If PGA Tour pros were playing for the middle of greens from that distance, they wouldn’t miss the greens 20% of times. They’re just normally flag hunting from that distance…to pins tucked to the edges of greens.
My game is ass inside 100 yards. I end up hitting way under the ball/chunking it. Then end up blading the next shot. I need to invest in a 60 wedge. Currently have 56 and 52. Also need to spend more time practicing those shots.
Thanks. It’ll help not try to hit a soft 56 or a half swing. Guess I should just give up, asshole. i do ask myself why I continue to pay to do this to myself, lol.
It may help? I think I think about the mid shot too much then pull my head trying to see where it goes, and completely undercut it. The range is probably a better option.
